If she did, why did Clare have sex with him when she knew he might not pick her, and had already sent up a bunch of red flags? That was either foolish on her part or she didn't think having sex was that big a deal. Some people just don't feel that exclusive about sex. This is a choice made by two.

Maggen and glazed, here is my take on what went down (cut from a post I made in the AFTR thread). I'm not convinced that they did but, if they did, it was choice she made knowing that she did not have all the info and maybe it led to "buyer's remorse" on her part?

What did Juan Pablo say to Clare:
This is the scenario that makes most sense to me— Clare asked the question that she reiterates later on at their LCD “Do you know me enough to propose to me in 2 days?” This is a no win for both of them—especially since Clare was F2; in her ITM Clare says that Juan Pablo says something sexual. Given Juan Pablo’s “honesty”, he is compelled to tell her No, I don’t think I know you well enough but then he needs to add AT THE VERY LEAST: I know I like kissing you or AT WORST: You’ll make a great f@#*buddy. For Clare, I suspect that this has been an issue in some of her past relationships and is why it doesn’t set well with her so what she hears is: what we have is only physical. Was Juan Pablo that crass and blatant, I doubt it, but it doesn’t matter—it is how Clare viewed it. What she needed to do is think about the situation (her knowledge of the show) and LISTEN to her inner voice. She was getting the information that she needed from Juan Pablo but she ignored it. I thought CH should have stuck up for Juan Pablo and reminded Clare he's not allowed to tell you you're the one. I get it: when it is someone else misreading the clues, they are dumb but when it is YOU, he led her on.

IDK if he had sex with either and choose not to speculate but ITA about your point RE Clare.

If she even cares, I'm sure she will. On another note, I am wondering about a few unanswered things like: how often did they get together in the last four months, is  she's still working at her nursing job, and is she a former model?

^^ apparently she has a shift where she is off 4 days a week and long 3.  Not sure if this is reverse.  

Just to add both set of families are backing them

Probably the same reason Nikki, who chose not to dwell on the negatives, slept with him.

I believe he had planned to. Things changed for Juan Pablo after the incident with Andi. I could see his attitude and mood change, his demeanor wasn't the same. It seem that took a lot out of him. He wasn't upbeat and energetic anymore. In his ITM with Clare he looked like he had been crying. He knew he was going to hurt Clare, I blieve he was trying to to give her the head's up with what he said to her in the helicopter about not knowing enough about her. I don't even much believe the other sexual comment he supposely said...just something added in by TPTB.
