Apparently he always had his cell phone, so it would be really easy to correspond with Obie to get the song produced.

Also the final version (from the video JPG made) has an additional backup vocal and percussion so it is more polished than the deleted scene version. This could be a sign that Obie didn't have much time to compose/record the first version.

About profit- mentioned up thread - the 4sale version on iTunes is the composer/singer who is a known Latin artist. Profit would be his.

Idk if Nikki was always f1 necessarily but I don't think that Clare ever was anything but f2 or f3. JPG is no Ashely's JPR who can seemingly listen to endless hours of crying, insecurity and whining (often about a other dude to top it off). Clare was always too much of a handful so I can't believe she was ever a serious contender for the f1.

Clare was pretty much one thing throughout the season. I typed it up in the episode discussion thread. It's on the last page and it's LONG. But I jotted my reasons/explanations as to what she was to JP over there.
