I have no clue why Clare is in Arizona.  However, the author of the tweet being discussed, Jeremy Guthrie, is a pitcher for the Kansas City Royals.  The Royals go to Arizona for spring training which began last week.  I suspect JuanPa is planning on going there on behalf of the Venezuelan athletes he represents of whom Jeremy may be one.

Adding to my tweet above.  Jeremy Guthrie is American born.  Went to Stanford and played ball there but left before graduating to do a two year Mormon mission in Spain which I assume is why he is now fluent in Spanish.  His catcher, Salvador Perez, is Venezeulan so that's the connection.
