Not sure but he told Clare the thing about "trying to be fair" when attempting to tell her that he made a mistake in the swimming incidents when she wasn't catching on.
I don't think all his actions on the show are going to be "fair".

Do you all think at this point in the game Nikki is the front runner because she met the clan ?

I do think he believes he is trying to be fair, and it wasn't just a line for Clare. I think him letting Cassandra go early was an example of that. I do think Nikki is one of his front runners along with Sharleen, Clare also. It was clear for me that they have a cute connection after their inter-change at the RC in NZ.

No, I don't. The producers are VERY manipulative and they set these poor people up at every point in the filming process. Nikki or anyone else who goes on that date would leave feeling that they are the front runner, even convince themselves that they are in love. The other girls would automatically become jealous of the presumed front runner. What do you have at the end of the day? "Front runner" gloating + Jealous girls = contentious arguments = drama = "good" reality TV = ratings = more money in producers pockets. This is a tried and tested formula, and it works!

We cant really know what for sure went down/how it went down yet. We have to wait till Monday and then we'll be able to make conclusions. As of right now we only know one thing: Nikki met the fam. There's obviously going to be a lot more to the story: good and bad.

One thing is for certain. It will pump up her confidence since she knows everything about "jealous" Clare and considers herself the better match for him.

LOL. Everything Nikki said about Clare, is EXACTLY what people say about her. And I love her "Who gets in a fight with....(somebody they just met/started dating)?? Haha!

The fact of the matter is that JP took both these two warring women to the end and possibly let one or both go. He surely had a bad time of it at their eliminations. I don't envy him either way  :Biggrin:

That depends on which one gives him nookie. JP doesn't care what catfights go on as long has his fire is ignited. In any case, these ladies won't see each other after Miami anyway.

Funny thing, though. Something is "off" with the description wording. The previews show Clare and Nikki arguing... AND the abc.com "extras" have each discussing the other. However, all we really see forthcoming is Nikki calling Clare crazy as she leaves the room. If Clare is on the group date, then she is one of the "three rejected bachelorettes". Yet Nikki gets into it with "another woman", which would be either Andi (doubtful since they are buddy-buddy) or Sharleen (who had the other date).

Back at the hotel, things get ugly when the three rejected bachelorettes and Nikki get into an argument. But the situation escalates when Nikki gets into it with another woman and they face off in one of the most explosive confrontations of the season. The deep freeze between these two ladies continues into the cocktail party, culminating in the ultimate awkward silent stand-off.

I think it may be after the group date card comes and they realize Nikki is on the one on one date. I could see tension if that happened. However, the other two girls may not be "involved" in the argument, but rather just bystanders. I could see Andi and Sharlene both sticking up for Nikki, if Clare starts something.

Heck, it seems like everybody except Andi has commented on Nikki. Even demure Cassandra.

Now... in contrast... everybody has commented on Clare angling up against Juan a lot and Juan angling up with her, but that's a different situation. Kelly jokingly and Andi seriously labeled Clare "crazy" TO Nikki, but not in PI sessions.

Clare wouldn't be bothered about the date card since she already had two dates so far. Now... maybe Nikki seeing Camilla and bragging about it might bother her.

We will just have to see how it plays out.
