Even though their date tonight went well, she still strikes me as not stable enough for a step mother. And she still did not recognized what she did wrong. It was more important for her to be right, to be understood, to get an apology from Juan than to understand where Juan was coming from. I think it's just a matter of time before JP can see through that. There is a reason she has no friend in the group and all have called her crazy.
Kelad, I saw the same thing, Chelsea got the future wife on cameras but I don't know what that means, especially since she has not gotten a lot of time with JP lately. I still can't rule her out as F1. I think MF is playing a totally different game this time. We shall see!!

Please, not Chelsea.  She is only 24 and too young for a wife and step-mom at this time.  Besides, we Buckeyes would never approve of it. Let Yawn Pablo have his pick from the litter of Andi, Nikki and Claire. I think they all deserve him, and he them. He should marry them all and get his own reality show titled "Sister, Wives, and Cam meeee loooo." Haha.....

Maggenzm- I think Clare is much more mature than edit is showing her to be. I got the sense she is willing to work things out when things go wrong like she did with Juan Pablo. She is at least willing to call someone out to their face when she thinks someone is doing something they're not supposed to. She doesn't backstab unlike Nikki. I think we may be seeing only a second of their fight on t.v. I think they probably work it out unless Clare bolts as it looks like from t.v. I think the reason why Clare rubs many people wrong, is that when she knows what she wants, she goes after it no matter if it's right or wrong. Edit is showing her to be manipulative, and deceiving but I also see glimpses of vulunerabilty with Clare. I do not see a lot of vulunerabilty with Nikki. While I admire those characterics in Clare and think edit may be giving both Clare and Nikki a bad rap, I like both. Nikki's snark makes for fun viewing and Clare's spitfire also makes for fun viewing. Nikki bragging about the kisses on the group date- she must have been excited but doesn't excuse her kissing and telling. I wonder if she rubbed it in with the other girls or just to the cameras? I think it must have been to the cameras because I'm sure they would have filmed that drama. Chelsie said she didn't get much one on one time with JP but I saw she had some 1:1 with him on the group date but they must not have talked about anything substantial if she still doesn't know JP at this point.

She may be young, but she is also a lot of fun. I think that may be what JP needs is someone that's not too serious, someone that's able to have fun, go with the flow. I think when he isn't busy being a player, JP takes himself and life way too seriously and needs that little bit of fun in his life. Thou I have to admit he kinda irritated me last night when he told Sharleen not to question.

Agree! Clare is so annoying. I have no interest in watching her pout and act so clueless yet seems she is in it awhile longer.

Last season, murasaki1393 and I went back and forth over the striking similarities with Ali's season. Granted, there was some variation: Brian's girlfriend business was in episode #3, while Justin's was in episode #6. (Justin's gal screamed over the phone with Ali, while Stephanie met Brian face to face.) Zak's antique ring replaced the Cape Cod bracelet. Yet we got the same under-the-Hollywood sign heartbreak talk, fans taking pictures in downtown Hollywood and the fantasy date break-up happening right after F1's fantasy date. F2s Drew and Chris Lambton were let go early on their final dates. (Ditto: Arie in Emily's.)

There was also some mixing with other seasons like Ashley's. Although the color of both cars was the same (turquoise), Frank's was a '59 Cadillac that broke down, while Brooks, Bryden and Ben rode a Bentley. Since the former got the Frank "role" (a.k.a. Ali's season), the latter two took turns playing Ashley's human Bentley. Bryden left at the start of F1's date in Munich (like Bentley did just before JP's date in LA) and Ben was the one "not here for the right reasons" (along with James too). Intriguingly all of the James drama was in episode #6, just like the Justin girlfriend drama in Ali's season and Bentley's visit to Hong Kong in Ashley's, followed by the fall-out with the guys once she told them about it. Resembling Emily's season, Des and Chris discussed her being upset over Bryden in a pub over drinks, just as Emily and Jef had their "baggage" talk in a London pub over fish'n'chips and drinks.

As Brooks fans pointed out quite well, he and Des dressed as groom and bride much like Ashley did with her F1 JP in Taiwan. However, his date was the very first, like Ashley's William Holman... who almost married Ashley in Las vegas after shopping for rings and cake. Also F1 JP wasn't the only one dressing for a wedding. Lucas and Ames did too in Taiwan.

The only Ben/Courtney connection THIS season has been the nighttime ocean swim. Other than that, Clare is getting a mix of Chris, Jordan Paul and "I am woman, hear me roar" Molly in her edit. As julychild stated, Clare being upset in episode #3 hardly looked flattering (being a woman), but Jordan Paul did the same thing in Taiwan. Nikki and Andi seem to be taking turns with Jillian Harris on Jason's season and Ben Flajnik in Ashley's, with the storyline all being about make-out sessions with the former and lots of "hhhhmmmm" over relationship talk in the latter. Only Clare is discussing deceased daddy this season for a change... then again, Juan is a daddy too, so that may make a difference.

Some seasons they give F1 a theme song. Des/Chris had Matt White, Ash/JP had REO Speedwagon, Ali/Roberto Elton John's Lion King "Have You Seen The Love Tonight", etc. So far, we have Josh Krajcik's "Let Me Hold You" repeated twice.

What do you think about a possible switcheroo like the other single dad's season ?

This season we also have one of the girls seeing his daughter and it is not Clare because Clare is on the group date.

Hmmm...wasn't Jef Holm the only one to meet Ricki? I am guessing Nikki gets to meet Camilla.

If... let's say... Nikki visits Camilla, I won't be surprised since she works with children a lot. Also it would be a nice curve-ball to confuse viewers, when Nikki turns out to be simply the first of two meeting her. Could even be the source of friction between her and Clare... and cast more "doubt" with Clare regarding her relationship with Juan. Ryan Bowers was the first to SEE Ricki in Emily's season, while Jef only saw her at the tail-end.

I was thinking of a potential switcheroo ever since Jason's youtube videos mysteriously and abruptly disappeared. Uh oh... I was thinking. Just what does Fleiss have simmering on that back burner of his? Yet, despite Clare resembling Molly a bit and Nikki resembling Melissa a bit, somehow the "vibe" isn't the same.

Melissa, by the way, almost met Little Ty (Jason's not Melissa's) on an early date in Seattle. They were both in the same house as I recall. Since the videos clips are no longer available for viewing, I had to go to Entertainment Weekly's site for a recap. Like Ryan, she just saw Ty without talking to him:

When Melissa arrives at the houseboat, she immediately starts tidying up Ty's toys and the half-eaten pizza from dinner because, you know, that's what women do: ''I went in, did the role, cleaned it all up, and sat on the couch and waited.'' Once Jason comes downstairs, she slips into something more comfortable, which in this case is shorts and a T-shirt — though I'm guessing anything would be more comfortable than her strapless gown that's held up by a sparkly boob snake. And while Jason says he's ''not quite ready'' for any of the women to meet Ty yet, he lets Melissa peek at him while he's sleeping. That would just kill the ''ladies'' if they knew: they're all moping because Melissa is spending time with Jason at ''home'' with Ty in the next room. ''I think all of us were just really jealous,'' sighs Jillian.

Now... Clare just got the "comfy" date so far, while both Melissa and Molly got casual dates. My guess is that Nikki will also get "casual".

Idk if anyone realized this....but last week and this week they have had Clare in the same outfits from those two episodes when they "interviews" were clearly shot AFTER the season and not during. She was wearing the red dress and purple jacket but I could tell it was different because her hair was darker and her makeup was different and quite orange looking. Did anyone notice aswell??

I've noticed Juan Pablo doing the "Mesnick" over quite a few balconies in a few scenes - not quite as dramatic as Jason, but they are maybe put in there for a reason?
