Though I haven't seen the episode, JP is fully to blame for buying into his own "fun" with Clare. She didn't force him. Obvs. it may play out differently tonight but I cannot even imagine what the other girls were feeling while being on a 1on1 situation on a group date.
Didn't Michelle Money do something similar with Brad ?

I think some of the girls will tell him what he did with Clare was inappropriate.Some may even have issues with it and hence why we may have 3 girls going home instead of the normal 2 at this time. I thought the theme this season seems to be all about trust. If we see some of the girls discussing it with each other, I think one or two may be brave enough to bring it up to Juan.

Regarding #3, iamreal2u... think of it this way. The editors COULD be pushing the "heat" with Clare as a way of hiding the "heat" with somebody else. Maybe I still confused you. We still are not certain who Nighttime Surf Girl is, but they do show us plenty of Clare's swimming pool session. None of the other ladies are being shown in this light in the previews, but who knows what we may see tonight.

Trying to keep all options open. After all, that is what our two Chelsie fans are banking on... *chuckle chuckle* The editors are keeping Chelsie hidden and pushing Princess Clairol up front. We've had this kind of editing shtick before in past seasons, so I wouldn't be surprised if the "dark horse" is hidden with Clare all over the place.

Regarding the Big Issue this season... there are two things I am suspecting:
Somebody feels insecure when he is with other ladies and it is NOT Andi despite all that she says on screen.
I think he and Clare have a debate regarding TV "morals".

Prepare for some "thinking outside of the box" analysis here that may simply confuse everybody, BUT... here it goes...

One feature I found interesting about episode #1's introductions was how each of the first night "dumpees" all appeared to be reflecting an "aspect" of Clare's personality that we have seen on screen... or giving her, more than any other contestant, instruction of sorts.

First Night Dumpee #1: Amy is a massage therapist who simply wants a man willing to be rubbed by her. Thought she would be married by 31, but not upset that she hasn't been. She has learned to know who she is first by staying single. Also, just as Juan Pablo feeds every female on screen including Little Camilla, Amy made Juan breakfast and is ready to fork it over. She then faints after commenting on how "hot" Juan is.
First Night Dumpee #2: Lauren is the jilted bride with a sad sad story to tell. Her family is EVERYTHING, but her love life SUCKS. Lots of shots in her intro that resemble Clare, sitting by the water-side contemplating... only Clare is discussing her father, not an ex-boyfriend dumping her. The lesson Lauren seems to be teaching SOMEBODY: "You need to go through the adversity to enjoy the good." Her hard times haven't broken her yet.
First Night Dumpee #3: Valerie is expecting the other contestants to be "kids"... the goat kind. Don't hate her because she's beautiful. She thinks she will be very competitive with the other girls. She will definitely "surprise the hell out of everybody"... maybe even more so than "surprise element" Andi? Last shot has her aiming for Juan's heart: bulls-eye!
First Night Dumpee #4: Lacy the home-care owner instructs us: "You have to be really tender in what kind of love you give them". Her dream is to do what her parents are doing... to be patient. Like Little Orphan Annie, she isn't completely dressed without a smile. Yet she chirps: "I'm gonna go all the way until I have a ring on my finger."

Several times this season, Juan says he is seeking "unconditional love" regardless of what mistakes or downfalls. He told Nikki in his sitdown at the soccer date that his biggest fear was "hurting people". He also told Kat in Korea that his biggest fear is "not being a good example for Camilla". Sooo... apparently both fears come to the surface tonight.

One peculiarity a few of us scratched our heads about was why there was "live feed" of Consummation Station during Sean and Catherine's wedding. That isn't any of our business. We aren't watching what happens on the honeymoon. (Heck, they might have been too exhausted from the whole show to do anything THAT night.) It was great that Catherine wanted a "sexy" wedding and I was OK with her posing in nighties as a special something-something for Sean... and him shopping for her undergarments. Yet it seemed like the editors were making it a bigger deal than it needed to be. This makes me question: Did Juan himself spazz out because something happened on camera he was paranoid his daughter would see?

I completely understand your reluctance, nd, to embrace Clare when she is being thrown in our faces. So going back to the other ways of identifying F1, how would you define each of our identified F3s obstacles to overcome as revealed so far? Is the "revealing of the obstacle" consistent with past seasons? In other words, was Clare's revealed too soon? Are Nikki's and Andi's being revealed at the "appropriate" pace in terms of the storytelling or are they coming later than normal? (Truthfully, I'm not really clear on what their obstacles are.)

I think it would be safe to say that Clare's trajectory is kind of rocky from what the edit is showing us, but I have yet to feel like either Nikki's or Andi's have really taken off. In both cases, their trajectory should take off with their individual dates, so maybe we do just need to wait it out. It just feels like their stories are going slowly to me.

In terms of past F1s with later dates (Jef & Catherine), I feel the lead's interest was clearly shown, but the lead questioned their F1's interest being reciprocated. Or am I remembering this wrong? To me, I see interest from Juan towards Nikki and Andi, but I'm not sure I can interpret his behavior towards them as "chasing" them or questioning their interest...but maybe my bias is keeping me from seeing it clearly. I do see him chasing Sharleen FWIW.

Anyway, I really would be interested in your thoughts...or anyone's for that matter.

I've been thinking today. I wonder if we are being misled as to how things will go down with Clare tonight. We suspect something happens with Clare. But what if it doesn't. Maybe it's between Juan and another girl and he's confessing something to Clare instead of it going the way we think when he said it was a mistake, he might have been saying whatever happened with the other girl and talking it over with Clare. I'm bothered by the fact editors are leaving in Clare's comment of I do not know where we go from here... Could mean that something happened to have caused her to distrust Juan and his feelings for her.

I think Clare is the one that has insecurity issues when Juan is around other ladies. We've seen that in the past few episodes.

I think we all can safely assume that whatever happens, something big happens tonight. That something will be connected to Clare. In what way, we do not know. However after just having previewed tonight's ep a few minutes ago, they had in big letters, everyone will be wondering what happened? Someone unexpected leaves tonight I think. I wonder if that someone will be Clare. Will Clare let her insecurities rule her emotions? or will she overcome them and stay and fight. The impression I got from viewing tonight's promo with the body language read between Juan and Clare talking is Juan is sorry for something that was done and he's making a confession to her. I don't know if he's telling her that they need to cool it down with whatever went on between them or if something happened with another girl that he was feeling guilty about so felt he needed to come clean to her or if he really thought what they did was a mistake.

They're gonna chew JP out on ATFR if they don't do it sooner (which I expect). Sometimes a person's horniness gets the best of them, but The Bachelor should've exercised better judgement. The woman (if not Clare) is gonna take a lot of heat post show for JP's behavior. The "winner" must really love him because I predict the waters will be rough following the final rose.

IMO, the social aspect sleuthed during the show is very important to tell us not just who is F1 but sometimes the state of the leads head post-filming.

The problem arises with us non-spoiled folks going out on social media - bam we're spoiled. So it will be very tricky and to ask a spoiled person to keep their "knowledge" out of the equation is hard.

That being said, I think it is important to which contestant is "active" etc. on twitter and if the twitter silences line up with JPs. Last season Chris was quiet but Brooks and Drew were pretty active. JP was quiet whereas Ben was tweeting up a storm.
Jef being f1 was confirmed because of that picture he posted close to the frc site. Chris being f1 was again confirmed because of a picture he posted near that pool. Emily and her 2 champagne glasses during brads season said that she was not alone ! All this stuff came from social media.

(Never mind, once i decide to spoil myself I can "catch" up on this aspect because we will need the help of spoiled folk for this). But you guys see what I mean ?

Would it be easier for a spoiled person to post those tweets in that thread?
