JBF, did he not said during his date with Chelsea " This is what I need, this is what I want"?
Does MF provide the caps of the HTD and the FRC?  If he does make it available for all to see, is it possible that he can hide the F1 caps so that it is a total surprise? I am pretty sure he would love to fool RS again, would he not?

You're right. He did say that but we do not know if he was actually talking about Chelsie or it could have been about one of the other girls. I still say Chelsie is going to be the dark horse. I feel she and Juan have much more in common than some of the other girls do. I know we do not get to see everything that's goes on. He also said Andi gets him but he could have been talking about any one of the other girls since we know how edit is spliced and diced to give us maximum drama.
I see them hiding Chelsie. More so than any of the other girls. I just have to wonder why. because you would think we'd get the same amount of screen time with her that we have with some of the MOT girls, yet we're not getting to see a lot of her which is usual indication of being F1 unless she may be the next Bachelorette. Juan has said she was wife material. Chelsie mentioned wanting to see Juan as her husband. We don't have an indication of Chelsie being next Bachelorette because we are not seeing the being open storyline playing out with her. I think there are 3 possibilities for Bachelorette from this batch.


I watched that clip JBF... I believe that's Chelsie. she posted a picture of her in a similar dress on twitter I think. Rewatch it and look at the way Juan's eyes light up when he sees her. I agree with your assesment that if he did not pick her, they will be really good friends.

If that is her in the M&M commercial... preferring to date the M&M dude over Juan (LOL!), then there is no question that Chelsie and Juan are still buds. As she says in her intro bio "I'm sure every girl in America wants to give him a hug and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get at least that." I don't think she ever expected to be "the one" (and will be OK if she is not), but came to this show at least for the possibility... and to enjoy the experience. She is one of the contestants who really looks like she is enjoying this.

IMO, the social aspect sleuthed during the show is very important to tell us not just who is F1 but sometimes the state of the leads head post-filming.

The problem arises with us non-spoiled folks going out on social media - bam we're spoiled. So it will be very tricky and to ask a spoiled person to keep their "knowledge" out of the equation is hard.

That being said, I think it is important to which contestant is "active" etc. on twitter and if the twitter silences line up with JPs. Last season Chris was quiet but Brooks and Drew were pretty active. JP was quiet whereas Ben was tweeting up a storm.
Jef being f1 was confirmed because of that picture he posted close to the frc site. Chris being f1 was again confirmed because of a picture he posted near that pool. Emily and her 2 champagne glasses during brads season said that she was not alone ! All this stuff came from social media.

(Never mind, once i decide to spoil myself I can "catch" up on this aspect because we will need the help of spoiled folk for this). But you guys see what I mean ?

With twitter, you really don't get spoiled, provided you don't fuss much with the responses. @Fleissmeiter tweeted a "kaboom!" on January 9th and a couple thought that had something to do with Reality Steve. Since I pretty much stopped reading the imp last season, I had no curiosity as to how he was responding on his blog.

I agree. I think the reason why I like watching her every monday is she looks like she's having a great time regardless of who she's with either JP or with the other girls. She's there for the experience and possibility. Some of the other girls look like they are not having such a great time. IE: Nikki and perhaps Clare. I think both Nikki and Clare thought this would be fun but it's not going to turn out to be fun for them based on what we see in previews. Clare needs to have some time to figure out who she is as a person before she's ready to be a stepmom I think. I believe that Nikki is a bit more mature than Clare in terms of knowing what she wants but is not socially mature. Juan seems like a social party guy so I think he's going to need someone fun to help him with being a good hostess. Nikki doesn't seem like she enjoys group dates or being in social settings. Neither does Clare. But I guess opposites can always attract if this is true for Juan and his girls this season and he picked someone.

A lot of it is editing. Nikki is probably not all that "negative", but a few like Elise had some issues with her... and the handlers love getting them to talk on camera. The primary conflict Clare had with her (so far) was the fact that Nikki took so much of Juan's time before the rose ceremony (apparently a lot longer that anybody expected) and several... INCLUDING Chelsie... didn't get a sitdown with him. You see this in how the editors select certain faces when Clare talks. Bottom line, Nikki was suspicious that somebody was saying "stuff" to him behind her back and, while Clare told her directly that she wouldn't waste "my time" (and make-out sessions, hot-tub sessions and whatever else they are doing that is all over the editors' floor), the blonde bombshell pediatrician seemed gung-ho to get to the bottom of it with HIM.

Robert Mills had tweeted the shot of Juan "kissing" Sharleen... by biting her lip. They seem to be pushing the "lack of chemistry" angle with those two big time. This is one example of how twitter can be a little "spoilerish", because I certainly don't have high hopes of her being "the one" despite Chris Harrison calling her a frontrunner.

Yes,Kelad, our girl is easy going and enjoys being around others. She is having a great time and enjoying JP and the experience. JP is a social person and naturally enjoys being around others, he also love to dance and sing, so far the only match for that is Chelsea. Nikki doesn't enjoy being around others, Andi doesn't like to dance nor sing, but she can learn, he did convince her to pose nude. Clara need to learn to love her herself and be confident before marrying someone, especially someone with a child, she is too desperate/chasing a guy(major red flag) that 's never a good thing. Sharlean and JP have a lot more in common than we can understand unless you are a foreigner with diverse background, but she is too proper. Soooo JBF, I say CHELSEA, CHELSEA, CHELSEA so far. I rest my case. Can't wait for tonight!

Well... the show is not over yet. We can debate Chelsie vs. Princess Clairol vs. Nikki until the cows come home, yet I still don't have any confidence in Sharleen. I think the only reason she is still there is because Mister Harrison just may have the "hots" for her. Why I have started thinking that? I dunno. At first I thought Juan was simply joking in the one interview about finding a girlfriend for our cheezy host. Yet Juan has that peculiar sense of humor that only prosecutor Andi seems to "get". Harrison over-praised her in his "ones to watch". In "Countdown to Juan Pablo", he narrates over her (singing in a mansion PI setting) that some contestants have "genuine talent". In what way, Chris? In what way? I couldn't stop snickering at that Hulu outtake scene when Juan kept his discussion about Sharleen strictly focused on her singing. Oh there will be drama with this babe. Perhaps she leaves and "boomerangs" for another chance to continue her "journey"... either to find l-u-v with Juan or to get more off-screen interaction with somebody else.

I remember many felt that CH had a thing for Emily also. I somehow picture her with CH way more than I can Sharlene. jmo.

Anyway, what sort of Edit "clues" are we looking for in episode 5 when the storylines are beginning to get clearer ? Compared to other seasons of course.

I pretty much knew Chris was F1 and the spoilers were wrong by episode #5 last season on account of two key quotes:

"I’m not going to let Bryden affect my date with Chris. Not at all. I just want to get back to Chris so I can feel happy again."

"Today was so hard on me but I'm so happy that it was Chris on this date and nobody else because I can trust Chris with my heart. He's supportive, he's kind, he's romantic, he's expressive. He's everything that I could want in a husband."... no "but" here. They would have added one had Chris not been "the one".

For me, if anything DOES happen with Clare that Juan is concerned about, the edit will push one of the following scenarios...
1.) What happens in Vietnam stays in Vietnam and this is something Juan has to explain to his F1 later if she is not Clare... and we will see this play out later.
2.) Juan is only concerned about Camilla seeing this on TV (on account of it being "intense" or "perverted" for family hour) and not the other ladies, confirming that Clare is the only "adult" he is worried about.
3.) What is teased in the promos is nothing at all. Juan's world is "rocked" by Cheslie, Nikki, Renee, Andi or Sharleen in scenes steamier than anything with Clare. As a result, Clare was just a promo "smokescreen" to tease viewers in the wrong direction.

^^^ Not sure I understand #3, but in reference to #2 Juan said the below on his twitter.  It will be interesting to see what he needed to explain.

I wonder if any of the girls on that group date told him they were uncomfortable. Possibly Sharlene ?

Though I haven't seen the episode, JP is fully to blame for buying into his own "fun" with Clare. She didn't force him. Obvs. it may play out differently tonight but I cannot even imagine what the other girls were feeling while being on a 1on1 situation on a group date.
Didn't Michelle Money do something similar with Brad ?
