The Bachelor 18 - Screencaps Discussion - *Spoilers*

Are you suggesting that Juan Pablo made a video for each of the ladies to view, such as the ones they prepared for him? If he did and the message was "I'm not ready to propose", that would elicit tears after the LCDs.

I actually think TPTB would allow Juan Pablo to do it. It would give them yet another way to slice & dice his words to make him look as uncaring, selfish and inarticulate as possible.

I totally respect everyone's opinions (even if they aren't the same as mine) regarding JP. You feel the way you feel, I understand. I do not worship Jef H. (don't think he's horrible but, to me, he is not "all that").

I love that we are all welcome here even if we have extremely different opinions! I may not watch Andi's season but I will come on here to talk to you guys!!

For day one of our countdown, we have a clip of Chris Harrison and Juan Pablo discussing this season’s most talked about moment: Juan Pablo’s late-night swim with Clare. At the rose ceremony, just after Juan Pablo left Clare in tears, Chris confronted him about how the Bachelor “devastated” Clare. As Chris put it: “You really think Camila’s going to be upset if she found you swimming at night?” Suffice it to say that Juan Pablo’s answer didn’t exactly put Chris at ease.
Is this the first time in Bachelor history that Chris really doesn’t like the guy sitting across from him? Decide for yourself by watching below.

Oh gosh. That was quite awful. Good thing they didn't put that scene in the show...people would hate him even more. That was honestly really bad. I can see what Chris meant now. He had no emotion or consideration whatsoever.

After watching the video both girls deserve better than this guy. I was team Claire, but feel she was saved a lot of grief. None of what he said made any sense.

If two people do something and only one of the people regret it then it will always turn out badly. If Clare had said, "yes, I was thinking about it. Let's just have fun during scheduled times" then that would have been that but HE did regret it and SHE did think it was great so that's just real life. People just sometimes view the same thing and interpret it in 2 different ways - like you & I watching this video. It's just the way we each think. I think we're both fabulous people even though we don't agree.  

Wow. Why are they doing that to him. Personally they are building up for something that will happen at FRC…What is it? performance of a lifetime?

Interesting to see that CH (and I assume that means all of production) was already really frustrated and baffled by him that early. I wish they'd shown more of the sit downs. I find it kind of funny watching Chris try to get the reaction he would expect someone to have out of Juan Pablo.

I'm glad I'm not attached to anyone this season because I think Monday is going to be brutal for all involved.

^^apparently all was settle on the next date according to her, until they pull her back to give an interview in February..  Umm..Juan Pablo was a bad boy and they are trying to spank him.

No, I get that. I think that was already clear when he talked to her and this just makes it worse.

I really just wanted to comment on the nature of his sit downs with Chris we've now seen bits of. Could have been enlightening to see more of them. Maybe I wouldn't be feeling sorry for him if I'd seen more of them and maybe they do highlight his true colors pretty well.

I see your point.
When he didn't want to kiss someone he said it was because of his daughter rather than saying "I don't want to kiss you". What do you think he really wanted to say to Clare? Could what he really have wanted to say have been more hurtful? I think this was a catch 22 situation.
Or, as you said, maybe he doesn't care about her feelings which would mean he's just going through the motions of the show with her at this point after thinking about their relationship.
