I was one who always saw a connection between Des and Brooks and later Chris and Des.  I am reserving judgment on the couple as of now and certainly wish everybody involved well but I do have 1 question (1) How do you know that they are sleeping together (is there proof of this?)  it's not a good idea to make any assumptions about anything when we have no proof of anything including everyone's feelings and actions during and post-show.   IMO

They are referencing lover and loverr in their tweets. Plus, she is going to live with a guy who is madly in love with her, all while she herself is not into it? Seems like a mighty cruel thing to do to Chris and something he would not be interested in. And they are going to involve all his friends in the charade? They portrayed her as "not that type of girl". It would have been more understandable if they would have gotten separate apartments. The fact that they are living together was actually a surprise.

The show is such a short time frame for getting to know anyone, the couples don't really advance beyond crush, lust or infatuation before jumping to a proposal.  In my mind Des could never have been in love with Brooks (and was not actually in love yet with Chris, either) during filming.  Furthest she got was crush, lust or infatuation.  That a person really can get over.

I do give Brooks credit for not letting the bubble get to him, and for recognizing/being honest about his feelings or lack there-of.  He seems like a good guy.  I enjoyed watching him.

Hmm, I didn't see Des laying "on top" of him. I guess I missed that.  I did see where she was sitting beside him, was sitting in front of him but not on top of him.  IMO, CH was upset because it seemed really late in the game to have an epiphany and leave, especially when CH(his words, not mine) saw there was a problem with Brooks in the weeks leading up to this and I guess he was so ticked because Brooks strung Des along for longer than he needed.  IMO.

BUT post season, Des and Chris look really happy.  Things seem to of worked out for her and since she was the lead, I guess in the end, that's what matters.

I do not disagree with you - they probably are -  but pointing out that referencing lover and loverrr in their tweets and living together does not point as proof as to sleeping together.  As I said before, I am sure they are happy now but I do get aggravated by people assuming Brooks and Des never had any feelings - the latest theory of it all being an act and that it was Chris as F1 all along is laughable.  Early on, I think Brooks did have some feelings for Des but they never reached the love level that Des needed and he did the right thing by leaving.  Chris is at the same point in his life as Des is - which is ready to settle down and I hope it works out for them.

I'm not assuming Brooks and Des never had any feelings. I was simply responding to the post that they are in it for the $$$$.
