Couldn't they have focused more on their (D and C) love story. I honestly thought along the way when she said she was also falling for Chris too she was saying that to leave a little opening for another option, not because she really felt that way. I even wondered if that was suggested by TPTB. Kind of like when Sean even up until the night before the FRC was saying he was in love with two women. I think he knew it was Catherine but couldn't say that because it would take all of the suspense out.

I don't think TPTB cared who they made to look foolish they just wanted to deny the spoilers.

ITA! I could have accepted Chris being F1 had they edited the season better. Sure, there were clues along the way that there was a chance that he might be but when she broke up with Brooks and said those things about saving her heart for him and wishing it was just him with her on her dates, it was too much. She was extremely dismissive about her feelings for Chris and Drew. I know CH did his usual backpedal about how she said those things because she was so upset and that she was in love with Chris too. Maybe she was, but the damage was done IMO. Even if I was a huge Chris fan, I could not enjoy the ending because she was so broken up and depressed before what was supposed to be a beautiful occasion and she really did not need to bring Brooks' name up right before Chris proposed either - I don't think my DH would have proposed had I brought up my ex's name either!

Atem, I don't see where anybody said Des did something wrong to Brooks...where do you get that she did. Brooks certainly left Des but if he had stayed, I think she would have picked him.

RS is still so blind with ignoring information given to him about Drew being the 3rd guy and not Zak W. But, he wanted it his way so badly that he ignored everything. Then pretends it doesn't mean anything, when it does. It shows how manipulation happens and I really wish people would wake the heck up.

Also, I do not agree in any way that Desiree did soemthing wrong to Brooks when HE was the one that dumped her. Yes, I think she settled, but that's her choice, not mine.

ITA. I was so aggravated that RS was so cocky when he was so wrong about Zach/Drew. That alone would have caused me to triple check everything and question more but he was so arrogant in his information that he did not.

It's the show that led us on, making a story out of something else, which I think is just mean, and it totally detracted from the real F1, making the ending something less than romantic and believable. Brooks for leaving when he did; Des for switching on a dime. Des for being so head over heels infatuated with Brooks. i'm moving thru my grief with how this season ended, and i'm at an angry stage now. Redfacemad

I am angry at the show for leading me to believe that there was a possibility that Brooks came back at the end, and we never got to see him again after the limo ride. maybe the signs were there, but I totally missed them and that ticks me off and makes me angry at myself. this season was so like Ali's season, although that time I was told it was Alberto that was F1 but all the signs, and I mean ALL the signs pointed to Chris L. I was sure that my source was wrong... I worked with JBF on fort, and analyzed rainbows, lens flares, music, the whole nine yards, and it wound up Roberto in the end anyway... so in a way I guess that my being spoiled that it was Brooks, and my seeing a connection between him and Des, I ignored the signs that had been apparent with Chris just figuring we were getting the Ali/ChrisL show once again. *I am angry at the franchise and all who created this show. i'm not only angry, i'm pissed! I am angry that they used Brooks, Des and Chris in such a cruel manner at the end to get people to watch, and that I was so gullible to catch that hook. hissyfit

I am hoping that each of them... Brooks, Des, and Chris get thru this with little to no damage to their psyche. I hope that MF and company come to a screeching halt and that what's important to them, the MONEY, dries up and withers away.

It wasn't only him though. Those with sources that they trust and sometimes have a friendship with totally ignored every clue indicating that something was wrong. It just shows how people get manipualted. Then when you try to tell people you really like that they are wrong and end up coming off as shrill, because people didn't want to hear it.

It's just a frustration of mine that I need to better understand, because I've been there in the past.

My wish was that people would wake up about this show, but it's not happening any time soon. Perhaps, they will skip a Bachelorette (don't know), but The Bachelor was a huge success for ABC with Sean.

We have women pratically acting a fool over Juan Pablo already (like the man doesn't have a big enough ego). Watch that season be huge ratings wise and the farce will continue.

Sorry, I have no interest in Juan Pablo so I won't be watching. I gave up the franchise for a few seasons, I am pretty sure I can do it again.

Sorry, I have no interest in Juan Pablo so I won't be watching. I gave up the franchise for a few seasons, I am pretty sure I can do it again.

Me too. It was really easier than I thought it would be.
