Yay! Another pic. Yeah, I didn't know what the heck a flowrider was, but it's where you can do a simulated surfing, wakeboarding, etc.

I had no idea, either. Thought it was just an exercise place. The dude is so active; always doing something sporty or at something sporty. All the sports. Also, he's not much of a homebody.

She freaked and posted that she'd delete any 'spoilers' put on her instagram and then later deleted some older pics.

Thanks atem! Interesting! Considering she was so into the foiler and did a good job in other ways to perpetuate it.

What gets me is how right I was about the Jimmy Kimmel show. Lots of things bugged me and didn't add up, but the thing that bugged me the most was the Jimmy Kimmel show. I could've sworn when he showed Brooks' picture she almost imperceptibly shook her head "no" as a knee-jerk reaction before she turned it into a "You're not going to get anything out of me". Plus, it didn't seem like she looked at his picture with love. And after that she says, "The season's full of surprises." It just didn't sit right with me.

Looking back now, there were so many clues that made me doubt and worried, big time.

It's sad.

After the season did you see Jimmy Kimmel's video about Chris being second choice. I wonder if he was given wrong info too...from what I've heard he usually gets it right and he picked Brooks. He seemed irritated with how it ended mostly that she got engaged after her declaration of love for Brooks.

Mandy61, good post. I work with addictions so a lot of this is familiar to me, sounds like you might too. It's not that I'm losing sleep over this. I think it's just the shock of having it end so different from what I was expecting and wanted. The show does say a lot about relationships and love even though I know a lot of it was manipulation. What I know was real was the break up scene, I saw love from both Des and Brooks and it's sad to see the relationship end so emotional and sad. I am moving on though along with everyone else. Thanks for your post.

True. He did seem irritated. I did see it and it was funny.

We were all irritated. Brooks did what he did because of how he felt. It's the show that led us on, making a story out of something else, which I think is just mean, and it totally detracted from the real F1, making the ending something less than romantic and believable. I think they screwed up this season because they were so set on making the ending a "surprise", which it really was not. Of course, you could put some of the blame on Brooks and Des. Brooks for leaving when he did; Des for switching on a dime. Des for being so head over heels infatuated with Brooks. Brooks for being so darn smart, funny, charming and good-looking, so she'd want to. But ultimately, TPTB are the ones who screwed this up by focusing on Brooks and how Des felt about him.

Not that I'm complaining about how much they focused on Brooks. At least what we got was good and not hidden.

I think Brooks went thru with the HTD because it was the only way to see if he wanted to continue because his family was so important to him. As Des said during the break up after the HTD Brooks seemed excited. From my perspective the HT was great. It was after the HTD with his time alone that he probably started to question his feelings and how crazy it is (if you really think about it) someone proposes after 8 weeks and so little time really spent with that person. That's why I do feel that he had genuine true feelings for Des because I think he would have left before if he didn't see a possibility of it working. I think he took it more seriously than a lot of guys do.

If I were Des and Chris I would be furious with the editing. Did they have to leave so much of that break up scene in? "I was conflicted because when I was when I was on dates, I wanted to be with you...I wanted to give my heart to you". And before Brooks arrival she says if he were to get down on one knee she would say yes. That doesn't sound like someone open to the last week changing her mind especially because the FD with Chris and Drew were over. She obviously "switched on a dime" within days. Yikes....unbelievable is what it is.

Couldn't they have focused more on their (D and C) love story. I honestly thought along the way when she said she was also falling for Chris too she was saying that to leave a little opening for another option, not because she really felt that way. I even wondered if that was suggested by TPTB. Kind of like when Sean even up until the night before the FRC was saying he was in love with two women. I think he knew it was Catherine but couldn't say that because it would take all of the suspense out.

I don't think TPTB cared who they made to look foolish they just wanted to deny the spoilers.

When will people get that MF & Co. don't care about the viewers of this show? It was all about getting back at RS and what I wish was that people on this forum had beaten both RS and MF & Co, but people get so wrapped up in what they want vs what the people actually on this show want that they will ignore any facts. That is what pisses me off about this show.

RS is still so blind with ignoring information given to him about Drew being the 3rd guy and not Zak W. But, he wanted it his way so badly that he ignored everything. Then pretends it doesn't mean anything, when it does. It shows how manipulation happens and I really wish people would wake the heck up.

Also, I do not agree in any way that Desiree did soemthing wrong to Brooks when HE was the one that dumped her. Yes, I think she settled, but that's her choice, not mine.
