You can add the increased exposure to the list of things Brooks might get as a result of the show. He could probably do endorsements for products too. Great for him....I think he has earned it!

I think it makes no difference where the HTD or him meeting his mom and sister took place.

His family couldn't fit where his other 2 siblings who live in Utah live and it was the show's decision for it to take place in Utah in the first place.

I really hope he gets some wonderful opportunities he wouldn't have had otherwise out of being on the show and gets to have some fun experiences. He ties with Chris Lambton for me as an amazingly genuine, great, unique guy who came out of this with his dignity and integrity in tact. Being open, honest emotional, vulnerable and true to yourself in that environment seems impossible to me. Chris and Brooks both did that so well. I would be so stressed I'd probably turn into an emotional basket case or a Tierra. Just the homesickness alone would do me in. I think it would be so hard to navigate, especially if you developed feelings, or the lead developed feelings for you. I'm in awe of people who handle it gracefully.

Great things happened for Chris as a result and I hope the same for Brooks. I think the woman he ends up with will be amazing and someone who enriches his life as much as he does hers. I'll always be a fan. Plus can't get enough of just looking at pictures of him and his twitter awesomeness.

So he got a messed up finger, some experiences, personal growth and insight, lots of fans, me as a fan, some friends and exposure out of this experience. Win. Of course. Didn't think otherwise.
