Please elaborate, did someone come over to the "Brooks fan thread" to ruffle things up over there. All we know is that it was posted on here that they calling Chris "sloppy seconds" in the "Brooks fan thread" and we are responding right here on the "Des and Chris" thread that we are happy to have Chris however he is. All Chrisvillers have kept it classy since the beginning and have not attacked any of the other contestants; if you find anyone doing otherwise, kindly send them back our way so we can remind them of our motto to "keep it classy", thanks a bunch!!!!

No one ruffled any feather in the brooks thread because they are always already ruffled and negative there anyways. Happy to be here in Chrisville.... Oops I meant CHRESville!!!!

Thanks for stating your opinion on this matter, we respect it. As with any relationship coming off this show, only time will tell for Des and Chris, they have the same odds as the prior relationships that have come off this show so good luck to them!!!!!

So the poster who works with chris said chris is coming home Friday with des in tow :yougogirl:  Also they said chris is goofball... But we already knew that!

Yup, happens every season. Bottom line is Brooks (and Drew) fans need to vent while Chris fans need to celebrate.

I honestly feel for Brooks fans as they were really blindsided since the spoilers were so firmly with Brooks being F1 until bitter end. That said, it's unfortunate some viewers only had eyes for Des' connection with Brooks as they missed out on a LOT of awesome Des & Chris moments in pretty much every single episode. Fleiss was generous in giving Chris screen time and alone time with Des so we could see their love story unfold week after week and it was wonderful. We could have done with less Des crying over Brooks, though!

Anyhow (and I am stepping on the soap box as I don't want to see this forum closed like it did last season due to all the warring that went on post Emily season) ... while it is natural to want to stick up for the Des & Chris love story, there is no need to go onto the Brooks fan thread to plead their case. The Brooks fan thread is the safe place for Brooks fans to post anything that they want and this is our safe place and we wouldn't want someone to come over here and tell us what to think about Chris & Des. There is nothing that we can say to a die hard Brooks/Des fan to convince them that Des made right choice with Chris. And, we really don't need to as there are enough fans who are happy/rooting for Chris & Des.

Great point, I concur :) This place talks about the reality...and it gives us a sense of peace of mind since it is the truth. and the truth is...is that Chris is happy with Des and Des found her true love...and both of them got their happy ending ^ ^ Why break or crush their spirit? Or even say negative remarks...I know I'll keep coming back here because I want to get updates about Chris and now Des to check what they are up to lol everyone here is so nice! You know, He is worthy of our admiration! And Chris is a great guy. Since we are supporters/fans, what we say or how we act will also reflect on him, so it is only right for us to represent him in a positive way. so, let's it keep classy, fun, and goofy!!! hahaha

Thank you for the bolded statements. I have always felt that the fans in the Chris threads have treated posters with respect. Even though I haven't agreed with everyone's perspective here, I've continued to come because I honor multiple perspectives and enjoy reading different opinions. I don't see it as one is right and one is wrong, I see it as learning how people can view things differently and both be right.

I want to be able to come here and get updates on Chris and Des. But it's upsetting to read some of the comments that have been posted that have changed the positive environment that has been here all season. It also makes it difficult for Love and San who give so much of their lives to provide a place where we can all feel safe and respected, no matter what "team" we are on.

So thank you to july, serenity and MVmom for your posts and to the rest of you for allowing me to speak my truth.
