Yup, happens every season. Bottom line is Brooks (and Drew) fans need to vent while Chris fans need to celebrate.

I honestly feel for Brooks fans as they were really blindsided since the spoilers were so firmly with Brooks being F1 until bitter end. That said, it's unfortunate some viewers only had eyes for Des' connection with Brooks as they missed out on a LOT of awesome Des & Chris moments in pretty much every single episode. Fleiss was generous in giving Chris screen time and alone time with Des so we could see their love story unfold week after week and it was wonderful. We could have done with less Des crying over Brooks, though!

Anyhow (and I am stepping on the soap box as I don't want to see this forum closed like it did last season due to all the warring that went on post Emily season) ... while it is natural to want to stick up for the Des & Chris love story, there is no need to go onto the Brooks fan thread to plead their case. The Brooks fan thread is the safe place for Brooks fans to post anything that they want and this is our safe place and we wouldn't want someone to come over here and tell us what to think about Chris & Des.  There is nothing that we can say to a die hard Brooks/Des fan to convince them that Des made right choice with Chris. And, we really don't need to as there are enough fans who are happy/rooting for Chris & Des.

Great point, I concur :) This place talks about the reality...and it gives us a sense of peace of mind since it is the truth. and the truth is...is that Chris is happy with Des and Des found her true love...and both of them got their happy ending ^ ^ Why break or crush their spirit? Or even say negative remarks...I know I'll keep coming back here because I want to get updates about Chris and now Des to check what they are up to lol everyone here is so nice! You know, He is worthy of our admiration! And Chris is a great guy. Since we are supporters/fans, what we say or how we act will also reflect on him, so it is only right for us to represent him in a positive way. so, let's it keep classy, fun, and goofy!!! hahaha

Serenity they just said on AMNW this morning they are hoping to get Chris to appear on the show here being he is a local boy.  I sure hope that happens and if it does I will let his loyal supporters here know.  AMNW is a local morning talk show in Portland, OR broadcast on our ABC local station.

I'm curious... I hardly ever read these magazines, but don't they usually give the final couple the "cover photo" (I don't know what they call it!) and not a corner slot?

If I end up "settling" it had better be with a great guy like Chris.
