I would have said I am sorry if I upset anyone with my comment but the "sloppy seconds" comment pretty much proved my point. There is no need to even point out that Brooks was never intimate with Des. I am sorry that some are taking this so hard. Once she allowed herself to be vulnerable, she found the person who truly had her back and who was there for her. Remember he said he wants to be her first and her last. Never heard any seconds mentioned.

You know what's funny.... If sloppy describes anyone it would be brooks   I'm not even going over there for now, I'm busy and don't have time for it!!!

It's all a bit silly, really. Up until the finale, their mantra was 'the heart wants what the heart wants.' Quite fitting now don't you think?

So true! I just watched the two Access Hollywood Interviews and tried to imbed below as they are MUST WATCH for Des & Chris fans ...

IMO these two are so darn comfortable together and are just cracking each other up in their responses. Des looks so darn happy. I just can't imagine anyone who watches these videos will not be convinced that they are in love.

I also re-watched tonight most of the part 2, finale and I think Des made it as clear as day. She didn't know what true love was before Chris as she had never before fallen in love with someone who loved her back and gave himself to her. For Des falling in love must have been just as much about the chase and hoping that the guy would come around to reciprocate her feelings. She got that and a whole lot more with Chris and they have both said that their love has only grown stronger over the past 2-3 months.

And, may I add, any girl -- A N Y girl - should be so lucky to have to "settle" for a life with Chris ... he's only a 6'4 dreamboat who is smart, patient, kind, strong, confident and wants to love & provide for her and be her rock and shoulder to cry on. Chris makes her smile, think, laugh and she can't seem to stop kissing him. So, yeah, Des is really roughing it with beautiful Chris!!!

This is hysterical!! I mean she could have the guy who doesn't love her, doesn't want her, probably doesn't even like her but yet she ended up with a man whose first reaction to her tears over another guy was wanting to comfort and hold her. Poor Des. Life can be rough.

Whether you like it or not, you (collective we) are getting this word of advice!

If what you read on the Brooks FAN thread, or any thread for that matter, will be upsetting to you, do not visit that thread. It is simple, really.

All these "warring" and cattiness over a silly TV show and complete strangers is ridiculous! *commencing eye-roll sequence*!!

I get it now chris is the best match for her and they look in love. Her being willing to move in such short time means that she is really willing to commit to him and it is a testament to her love for him. Ps. this is coming from a brooks fan.
