There is just no way someone puts ALL their eggs in one basket, loses that basket then gathers her eggs to put into another basket that soon. She has to know denial ain't just that river in Egypt. The more she denies the obvious, the harder it will be to move on. She might throw herself in this new relationship but that doesn't erase her intense feelings for another. After Brooks' breakup I was mad at Des and said it was her karma. Loving Brooks but going with the gusto with the other two. Des should have let her heart heal rather than going from the fire into the frying pan. It doesn't matter how much Chris loves her. She's going to learn that when you settle, you somehow aren't as happy as when you don't. I don't think we're alone in thinking Des was just desperate for love. When does desperation ever result in anything good or long lasting?
So this is the Brooks fan page and is for only positive comments about Brooks--fine. Does this also mean that posters can totally rip Des, Chris, and any other contestant and that post can also be answered with more negative comments? I'm sorry, but I don't get it. I thought this was a "happy place" for Brooks lovers--and that's great. But why also use it for a place to rip others--is it a "safe place" for that also.

Whether one likes it or not Brooks and Des are interconnected in convos because she's the one the put her eggs in that ONE basket. I've said very little and reserve my right to do so. Happy happy happy happy for Brooks and we now know who the real wishy washy person was. Rhymes with Fes.
:wave:Good to see ya.
Looked and saw that transcripts still aren't up yet.

Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I haven't seen any "ripping". I would say the majority of Brooks' fans have said nothing but nice things about Chris (great guy, stable guy, he loves Des, etc.) and Des (great girl, sweet, etc.). The question (which isn't being negative) comes from how does someone go from stating for weeks she loved someone else, and accepting another man's proposal within days? That's not normal. Fact is, Des has said within the last year ILY to three different men that we've seen (Sean, Brooks, Chris). I do believe she is in love with Chris now that she's had a few months with him while not dating other guys. I do hope they live happily ever after together, and that Brooks and Drew and Zac and the rest of them all find their happiness, as well. Just because you question someone's actions doesn't make you negative.
