Also,  I'd love to see what he's like when really in love.  Because if he wasn't at all in love with Des and melted me into a puddle, I can't even imagine!

Right?!  That's why I selfishly would have wanted him to be the next bachelor.

I know if must be something when he is in love....I always felt like I was eavesdropping on their dates. And they gave me goosebumps...oh well!

Congratulations, agentcurls!! I read where someone asked you if you'd name her Brook or Brooke due to your saying she may have been conceived around the time of Bres' first date. I was going to name my little girl Brooke if I ever had one, but I was blessed with two boys instead. Never occurred to me to name my second son Brooks, however.

I've watched their dates over and over so many times....can't bring myself to do that any longer, nor watch any of the fanvids made for them.

I think Brooks is completely ready to fall in love and be in a committed relationship. Of course CH had to paint him as a flawed character ONLY because he didn't fall in love with their lead. Can you imagine how grand the finale would've been, had Brooks fallen hard for Des during the FD and he had put a ring on it at the FRC?

Or he was really hurt.  Someone do not tear up and be emotional 3 months after the fact if some feelings were not involved.

I think his thoughts were pretty much like mine. How could you declare this great love for me one day, telling me that when you were on dates with Chris that you were thinking of me, then accept a proposal from Chris a few days later? Was I getting played all along? Which I think was his biggest hang up. I think he trusted his feelings.....he just didn't trust hers enough to stick it out. That's why he somewhat waffled when he left her and kept saying he didn't know what to do. Everything changed for him after the HTDs RC seeing Zak get blindsided and having Chris tell him that Zak felt like they had a really good relationship. He started thinking, wait a minute......I have a really good relationship with her. Am I being set up for the same fall. When he left SLC everything was rosy. He was happy the way things were going, yada, yada yada. Then boom he sees Zak get crushed and he started to question everything. Michael had been the one to leave before Zak. Since Brooks and Michael were friends, I'm sure Michael told him he knew he was the one going. So, I think he thought you would just know if the relationship wasn't as strong as others and know it was your time to go.
