As mentioned by many folks already, it's the spoilers vs. the edits / Nate / what Chris H is touting in the latest rounds of interviews. I am just confused that he said the ratings don't matter as much as Des's well being in the latest media interview. Yet if she is engaged to Brooks, he has done nothing but taint their relationship with everything he said in the media rounds. We here in Chrisville wish Des nothing but the best but she better not reward Chris's steadfastness, love and support by allowing him to propose and then dumping him, that we will hold against her. Especially after those LCD pictures we have from screen caps of her and Chris, how could she be frolicking with Chris after claiming that she wanted to go home and for her it was over.... that's not right in my opinion but we shall see what happens on Monday!!!!!

Well if she is with Chris I am a tad bit concerned about how much she really loves him so what happens in the next few months is up in the air. I think there is a chance she does love him or could grow to love him esp with Brooks out of the picture. I mean sometimes when a girl loves a guy and gets dumped and then later gets over him she might realize that it wasn't real love because love is a two way street. The thing with Brooks is, Des thought he loved her too, I think if he has some time to get over him and thinks more and more how he didn't love her, it will hurt but then she will come to a realization maybe she didn't really love him that much after all..i mean really she barely knew the guy...the went on like 3 or 4 dates inside a bubble.

Anyway I just don't think there's any way Chris Harrison would be saying these things about Brooks if he is engaged to Des. And Chris H likes Brooks...he's not saying bad things about Brooks he's just saying Brooks didn't love her....and he is emphasizing it also cuz he needs to do damage control cuz they are showing Des saying how much she loves Brooks and I think Chris H wants to point out, look she loved him ("or so she thought" those are Chris H's words), he didn't love her, she needs to get over him (or has, which he can't say). I just don't think Chris H would throw in the "or so she thought" if Des was engaged or with Brooks. He is prob saying that cuz Des is not with Brooks and is with someone else and he wants Des's claim of loving Brooks to not seem so real and damaging to her current relationship.

I just don't put any stock into anything CH says. He probably isn't even writing his own blogs. Those are as carefully crafted as the edit. I don't want to be a downer here in Chrisville, but I don't think they would have shown quite so much of that discussion, if Brooks wasn't the F1. They would have left out the conflicted part because that gets in the way of her choosing another. I will be pretty upset if she let's Chris propose, but they may do that to build sympathy and interest in him as the next bachelor, so be prepared. I think that is why they did it to Ben.

Thanks Grace, I think most of us are prepared for Chris not to be the F1 post last Monday's show. Chris is bound to find happiness but still not fair to have him propose. Des looks really two faced if she allows Chris to get down on one knee. Maybe her body language will be telling come Monday but so far the screen caps show she was really into Chris on the LCD so not sure how she got herself together from her collapse with Brooks to demonstrate such passion on the LCD.

His blogs sound like his interviews. I think he writes them and producers okay them or have some input but they sound like the way he talks. Chris H likes to sound like he knows about relationships. I don't think he would say something to make himself look dumb. Why would he say Brooks is not in love with Des if they are engaged...sorry that makes NO sense. He even went as far as to say it (love) was NEVER there.

Every season I read his blogs and every season I (me,maybe not others) see clues that support the final result of the show. Unless they've changed it up this year I just don't see how there is anyway Des is presently engaged to Brooks.

Also these spoilers that say Brooks is F1...well so far there hasn't been one shred of evidence to support that.

Now the part about Chris S...well I am just basing this on the fact that Nate Hartsock said the guy Des chooses is a nice guy...implying she does choose someone, so it's either Chris or Drew. who knows if that is true or not but it's some kind of evidence. I think it is Chris over Drew because in the past Des has stated she was falling in love with Chris and Chris H restated that in a prev blog. I dont' recall anything about her falling in love with Drew.

Anyway so based on all of this I just think Brooks doesn't come back and Des tries to move on and she eventually accepts a proposal from Chris S. I could be totally wrong of course.

I am convinced that the producers must control some of their actions... via twitter and IG photos.

Chris in the swimming trunks (surely he isn't smiling at a buddy that way)
Chris posting something on IG and within minutes Dez doing the same.. that has happened several times
The big smile of Dez watching Chris on the bloopers

Some of Dez's tweets about "don't settle"... how can you call it not settling when Brook has already said he hasn't fallen in love and yet she practically begged him to feel differently through her sorrow. Of course it's human nature, but "Know your worth" doesn't exactly match that scenario

It really doesn't make sense... but when Kasha gives out F1 spoiler just before FRC...it's usually rock solid... or ALWAYS rock solid. Been doing this too long not to feel it doesn't have validity!

I still think its chris but not because of what Chris H . says. Last time with Catherine he wasn't very nice to her and he seriously had me worried it wasn't her. He was completely disrespectful to their relationship stating that sean and des were perfect for each other. How sean's eyes sparked at the women tell all when he saw des. I mean seriously the guy is really fake at the after the final rose he kept saying how Sean lit up when Catherine was around.

I understand your questioning it... I do. But as I said... been around too long not to accept it. There's always a first for everything so what I think isn't written in stone of course!

In episode #8, post-hometowns, Desiree met with her brother. She told him... on screen of course... that Chris will make a good husband and father. She also said she was enjoying being "in the moment" with Brooks. "In the moment" does not mean longterm.

SO, IMO, this means one of two things:

1)Brooks is F1 and doesn't meet Des's family during filming
2) Brooks isn't F1 and then that means either Chris or Drew is F1.

I am guessing it is number 2 and to be honest, I would love her to be with either Chris or Drew.

I think the producers got to him and he felt guilty as hell after that "goodbye". At FRC, he sang a different tune. He didn't stick to his guns but I think he felt well maybe I do love her... at least I should and in the end that's where he screwed up. But you live and learn. Hopefully Dez learned alot on this journey. I so hope so. As I said on another thread.... with Nate who keeps insisting that RS is wrong... I don't think he proposed but he is left standing as F1 and with that he can say RS got the spoiler wrong.

No, he said RS is wrong about who wins, so it's not just about the proposal.
