I was just going to say the same thing. Anything is possible, but I think the leap from having feelings for someone then those feelings turning to love are more believable than being madly in love with one person one day to a different person the next.

I also am LOLing at the Epiphany reference, and thinking of GH

I agree! And now you have me thinking of GH, which I have been neglecting for awhile.

Thanks so much later, that was what I was worried about. I have no doubts that she picks Brooks but I wanted them to still be happy now.

I think he was regretting it while he was doing it. I just re-watched and posted a "as best I could" word for word which highlights his indecision/looking for an out.

You know, there was something so real about their "fight" and break-up. That kind of stuff never happens on this show. They got a glimpse of their real life and what it would be like to be together and to work through problems together, right there on the show, which would give them a lot of confidence going forward, I think.

I read what Cecilia wrote as she watched the show again and it's apparent that right after she told him she loved him he was starting to wonder, and then by the time they were walking he was starting to regret, like she said, the hole he'd dug himself into, and he was trying to give her every opportunity to help him out of his hole, but she never did. She left. She was crying. He was sobbing and saying there was nothing he could say to make it better and that it was the worst day of his life, that he hadn't expected it to be this bad. He was regretting it already, right there, true to word. Almost immediately. And that regret continued in his PIs.

If he doesn't come back I'd be shocked and if he does come back it's because he now knows he's fiercely in love with her.

Whatever!!!...As long as they (Des and F1) are happy, it doesn't matter what anyone thinks or say. It is what happens after the show ends that matter, not all the big production that led to their coming together. That is for our entertainment...or not. People get out of relationships with guys/girls that they thought were the loves of their lives one day, walk into a store the next day and meet someone new and fall in love, for real. At times, you need another point of view, or someone else to come along to show you that what you thought was gold was just actually shiny brass!
