No, I read that interview as well and you are twisting what CH said. Here ya go.
This is what CH said. He clearly states that he doesn't know.
When I would sit with her in the deliberation room, it’s not my job to say, “You’re crazy! He doesn’t love you!” or “He’s not that into you!” It’s just my job to try and ask the right questions to help her see that. Because again I’m not with them. Maybe she’s right. Maybe there are things he says and does that [to show his love]. I just don’t know.

That's right CH does not know maybe he should look on the cutting room floor where all the good stuff is. We only get what they want to show us and that is their story.

CH sees the film and also talks to producers about what's going on -
He gets a great inside look at everything....
CH said it's not for him to clue her in , but said this morning on GMA when he tried to question her about these "red flags " she'd explain it away saying " he was different around her ".

It may happen but I think it's very possible that Des will say it's too late. She heard what he said to her so she knows he's not in love with her at the FD so why would she think a few days will change everything? I'm not even sure Brooks will return or propose after everything we saw last night. If he does it's not going to feel real to me. I don't buy that he was just afraid that she didn't love him. He already knew that she was closer to being in love than he was so why would it matter? I have no issue with him not being sure or even leaving but it's the returning that I'd have trouble with if it magically includes a proposal he said he wasn't ready for. I hope that Des really takes time to see what she really wants when the gaga stage goes away. She deserves someone who does love her as much as she loves him. I hope she finds it.
Totally agree.

Like his other interviews today, CH is not a Brooks fan here....
IF Brooks were F1 no way woukd CH be this harsh.
Calling him wishy washy even if he returns, not a good sign.
You kind of saw this coming, right?
Harrison: I can't say I saw that coming, but obviously we could all see the warning signs. She always reassured me I was wrong and there was so much more we didn't see, but obviously there wasn't. It was one of those old cases where you just believe what you want to believe and see what you want to see and she was just blinded by how she felt about the guy. But at the same time I think he fell for her and loved her. I don't know what his issues are, but he just wasn't as into her as she was.
Did he never think about staying, but just not proposing?
Harrison: It's hard to tell with him. I tried to understand what he was thinking, but he has such a tough time articulating. Now I know how Des felt because I didn't understand it either. I also think he was trying to be the good guy and trying to say the right things, but you're not going to look good doing this. But I don't think he's a bad guy or malicious, I just think he was so careful and trying to be nice that he couldn't make his point. I had to stop him and say, "Let's be clear, what do you want to do?" Because there were a lot of options for him besides just leave. But I think what he wanted to say was, "I'm not in love with her. I want to leave." He just couldn't say that flat out.
Watching the episode, it really seems like her and Chris have something strong.
Harrison: When you watch it now, and I think Des might feel the same way, you're like, wow those two [are on a different level] than what she had with Brooks. You shouldn't have to have funny little verbs or code names for how you're feeling. You should be able to talk like adults and if the guy can't, it's a red flag. It means he's either not capable or mature, or he doesn't feel it. When you look at Chris and Drew these are articulate men. I'm not sure why it wasn't so evident to her.
Were you able to talk to her about the other dates?
Harrison: No, it was just about Brooks. But I knew that the other dates went well.
So how does this finale play out now?
Harrison: There's nothing typical about this finale. It begins with her and I sitting down and putting the pieces together of where we go from here. Are you going to give these other guys a chance and if so how is that even possible? But the other dynamic here is that Chris and Drew have no clue because we separate everybody at this point. So we also have to deal with that there are two really good guys who very much love her and we owe it to them to have a conversation and tell them what happened. And then there's Brooks. If anybody was ever set to come back and be wishy-washy, it's him. There's definitely that option.
And there will still be a live After the Finale Rose?
Harrison: Yes, and from what I understand all three guys will be there. That to me will be the most riveting After the Final Rose because I have so many questions and I know if I do, the viewers definitely do.

Then Brooks is not ready to propose. So he left as he well should have if he was struggling at this point and not sure. Even his own sister said to him on the HTD that he should know by now.

I think it's worth reading all the way through before jumping to conclusions the way some seem to be, or trying to look for something that is not there. The words "wishy-washy" would not be considered a compliment.
I really appreciated his comments about the silly game of adjectives and verbs like jogging, running and at the finish line. I never heard adults talk like that! It seems quite immature and also very indirect and unclear. When you feel it, you know it and you say it. Chris and Drew had no trouble articulating their feelings for Des. Somehow that has gotten lost in all the drama and excuses and rationalizations for Brooks. Sometimes it is what it is. Brooks left because he just wasn't feeling it the way Des was and that's the right thing to do. He's not going to suddenly have an epiphany in one week after equivocating for weeks about how he feels about Des.

Pattycake92 wrote:Epiphany, what a great word! Is it more likely that Brooks had one, or Des? If she's really engaged, as they say, then one of them had an epiphany. I find it way more believable that it was Brooks that suddenly realized his love for Des rather than Dez suddenly realizing her love for Chris. We shall see.
I'm hanging onto your coattails of positivity.

Maybe, Desiree liked it, because they did it themselves and it wasn't SCRIPTED for once like all her dates with Drew and Chris are...SCRIPTED!

Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

Re: The Final One (F1) - Bachelorette 9 - Spoilers - Thread #4
But normally when someone exits we know the reason and they are setup to be the one to hurt and humiliate the lead. Not this time. This time, the guy who exited is the spoiled and beloved F1 who apparently had no signs of bailing (unless we count the sleuthed SC of BSG !).
It seems like that is the problem this season - the dumper of the lead is not the bad guy or rather not been painted as a bad guy (like Frank, Bentley etc. who we knew from the get-go they were going to dump the lead).
Its all perception.
