I am sure this was discussed earlier, but can someone explain why the coral nail polish with the red dress is significant and how we know that is Chris' LCD? There is a VO from the first episode where she says she wants him down on one knee and then "I have never felt so loved". Is this a match to the red dress?

She seems to bounce back after Brooks leaves. Looks like she has a great LCD with Chris with the string rays, boat, beach kissing. He is definitely getting the best dates. Would she really take Brooks back after that date or send Chris away?

I, too, believe that Chris was the one Des chose.  Despite what CH was able to pull out of her re: Brooks, I think Brooks' leaving opens her eyes and helps her realize who was in front of her all along, the guy who wouldn't break her heart (and her FD preview says she wants a guy she can trust her heart with) and the guy who would love her forever.  

This is going to come as a surprise to Jack Benny Fan but we actually agree this season.     I only started reading this season's posts recently but each post JBF has made in the last week, I've nodded my head and said, right on, ITA!   

There have been so many little things that Des has said and done during the episodes that show me she wasn't *as* into Brooks as the edit makes us believe and pushes me towards Chris.  From the get-go it's always been Brooks vs Chris (and I love that they get along so well!).  I think she is at the point in her life and, thanks to her previous boyfriend, knows exactly what she doesn't want to happen in her life, a guy who doesn't speak his feelings and makes her chase him.  She started off the season, knowing what she wants (Brooks), but ended the season with what she needs (Chris).

TPTB have shaken Des to the core with the guys who have left and who have not been there 'for the right reasons' ((puke)) so much that I think she gathers herself together and keeps herself strong.  I think when Brooks leaves, that's the final straw and helps her to realize who was there all along.  

It's funny b/c during Jillian's season I was convinced she chose Ed, following the whole "Twilight" storyline of sticking with the guy you loved who broke your heart and then came back.  This season, though, I believe Des stayed strong to herself and realized who was going to love her and not break her heart...and after some roadblocks, ultimately chose him for F1.

CSW, I hope you're right on this! If we do see the story end the way you describe, Des will be the strong woman that the families describe at HTD's. I'd like to believe she has that strength.

It may not be popular to state on this board, but Brooks leaving and immediately regretting it will portray him as wishy washy (real or not). He likely will want to return at some point. If Des takes him back, it will portray her as flimsy (real or not).

So, which Des will we see?

well..i chose to think that God`s hands are everywhere...including in helping my cray fangirling for Chris. .....so it could be both. I am so grateful for that for sure !!... . as for the hashtag, i cant take all of the credit for myself. Im sure many of his fans out there were suggesting the same line. It was #neededtotiemyshoes......which he used in his very first tweet. Unfortunately he deleted it not so long after.

I am a Brooks fan and believe the spoilers, but I wanted to pop over and say that I think Chris is totally adorable!! He seems like a kind, very down to earth, good guy.
I could see him as the next lead.

I believe they figured out the SC with Des in the red dress was at the same resort that Chris is staying. Kasha showed that Des' nails were coral on Chris' LCD as well so it ties together as being the evening portion of their LCD. So the question is why is she crying?  

I also think the nails may tie in to when his LCD was. There's a SC of des walking with clear nails but the same clothes as in the photo shoot and then later with coral nails. The magazine said it was on May 5th so I was thinking that she got her nails done on the way to the photo shoot and that Chris' LCD was afterwards. That's significant if the FRC is on May 6th because it could mean Brooks doesn't come back until the FRC day.

As far as Brooks returning, we still don't know for certain when the FRC was filmed.

OK. thanks... There is a VO in the episode 1 promo that seems to match a part of her words in the red dress. "After tonight, I want him down on one knee because I love him, and I always knew I was deserving of it, but I've never felt so loved." In the red dress, they show "I never felt" and then the word "so" may be changed to "like" because the rest sounds the same. What do you think?
