Not that I put much stock into MF's words, but he said the ending is weird and out of left field, not controversial and shocking. On the positive side it could be that they want an audience cheering that the spoiler king is defeated. :Woah-hoo: Or cheering her decision and not acting like it was a default??

RS said for most of her season that Ali picked no one. He firmly stated that Brad 2.0 chose Chantal. IMO the reason the set is closed is because something very unique has happened. It could be that Desiree has succeeded in pranking us about whom she picked or perhaps she has pulled a switcheroo a la Mesnick if she realized she had made a mistake at the FRC.

Not that I have ever seen anywhere. Seems funny that it has been hidden somewhere. During Emily's season we were able to access all F3 intro videos but I have not seen one for Chris anywhere.

I don't know where they get that that is a shiny ring and that is Chris holding it. That is the ring that Zak gave Des on his HTD and he bought it in that shop in Atlantic City. It is the same shirt and jacket he was wearing when he gave it to her. That is no way a Neil Lane ring in that shot they are showing in the preview. It is just more of their deceptive splicing and dicing of the previews IMO. All you need to do is go back to Zak's HTD and you will see that is what he is wearing. The grey is lighter than the suit Chris is wearing and much more causal.

I, too, think Chris seems like a great guy and wish him the best.

1) being oversold by CH & TPTB
2) lots of screen time, especially in previews
3) his overconfidence in his relationship w/Des

....makes me believe he is not F1. F1s usually express more doubt, or are edited that way.

I'm already dreading having to watch Chris get crushed at the FRC if he isn't the last man standing.

He will see Des`s unstable emotions due to BRook`s saga and questioning whether she will love him back .He will get anxious ala JP : will she accept him or..heartbreak all over again?....this referring to his past relationship where his prev GF has insecurities, which brought up as an issues on his HTD. Him getting heartbroken was addressed spesifically by his mom to Des. His biggest fear is Des`s insecurities, which of course he has to face at the finale for the worth of him being the F1.

at the beginning of the season i am dreading to see Chris at FRC. but at this stage i spare that for Brooks...lol...

Under the Hollywood sign (episode #2), Desiree says: “I can take the risk and if I get heartbroken, that’s what is gonna happen and… then that just means I wasn’t meant, y’know, to be with that person”.

After hometowns, brother Nate kept repeating “what’s not meant to be is not meant to be”.

Key quotes in episode #5 some of us think are foreshadowing, although how it plays out is still a mystery:

(This line confirmed to me that Chris was F1 by Munich. Already she states that a guy leaving is not going to impact her relationship with Chris no matter how upsetting it is.)

Chris again (paralleling JP’s discussion of Bentley with Ashley in Hong Kong):
“She pretty much said ‘I don’t need to talk about it. I’m having this awesome date with you. I don’t even need to talk about it.’ (dubbed in “but at the same time”) you could tell she was pretty upset... Even though we talked about it a little bit walking into brewer house, out in the plaza, about the situation with Bryden, the conversation needed broached one more time. I think it is really important in a relationship to develop a very good level of communication and I want her to know that she can trust in me.”

When discussing James with Brooks, Chris and Kasey, Drew says over a shot of himself with Kasey and Brooks… but with Chris strategically cut off the frame… “someone else is definitely not here for the right reasons”. Now… I am not suggesting that he is calling out the three of them in this way, but the editing is very peculiar and specific nonetheless.

Drew says “I don’t want her to lose faith in the good guys who are here” over a face-shot of Chris, shown through the entire duration of this line.

Then Drew is shown talking “She might even give up on the whole thing and say these guys are terrible. I don’t want anything to do with them”

Brooks closes out this meeting with this ominous line spoken with shots of both him and Drew intermixed: “It’s the very first time that I had the thought that at the end of this, there could be zero guys”.

What this Brooks/Drew conversation spells out is this: First Brooks will leave suddenly (“She’s going to be crushed”), then Drew (“She might even give up on the whole thing”).

…What does she see in him that the rest of us don’t? He said it himself…
Drew gets up as the camera zoomed at both him and Brooks sitting with Mike… no clue if this line is for Drew only or both of them.

i thought MOT and Julychild have sleuthed that the ring doesnt match Zak`s AC ring? and also doesnt match the ring reported by WP either
