I think whatever happens during that conversation we see in sc's is the reason why Drew is being treated the way he is by the edit and Bach nation in the post show media.
I think he has one based on the SCs but I think it gets cut short. I don't think they will spend too much time on either Chris or Drews dates if Brooks is the F1 it will be mostly about him and her decisions after trying to move on with Chris and Drew.
I'm just wondering whether to bother to watch at all on monday. Not too fond of watching a wishy washy mess.
I have already posted I am not. This season for me has been off and the drama takes away from the guilty pleasure of watching this show. Last season I really did not know which way Sean would go. It was fun. This last week just painful. I am in the minority but I will be enjoying a night out with hubby. A guess a train wreck gets attention and many can't wait but it is not escapism for me which is why I watch TV. After working 60 hours a week I need and want to relax. For me this is not cutting it. I hope it turns out all get closure but I am just going to read about it Tuesday morning. This is too much like my day job.
You are right. Its just that I've invested an entire season to watching and cannot believe I don't want to watch 2 great guys get lead on even farther while seeing a girl who I had so many hopes for fall back into her old familiar patterns.

I can understand what you are talking about nd, but it happens every season... if MF were to see your post he'd say, Booyah! so sad too bad.
but I do understand as more times than not in the old days I've been on the F2 or F3 side of the coin.

I didn't watch Monday's episode and I sure won't watch until I have more confirmation of what happened.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.

This is not about being on the wrong side of the coin at all. It is about cringing when you see a girl who wanted better for herself and has said that over and over in interviews and in PIs on the show - go back to her old familiar yet damaged patterns of behavior.
Obviously there is always an F2 and F3 though never have we had both dumped in the same episode . We always have at least 1 (sometimes more) guy/gals strung along for the ride and seen them heartbroken on the final day.
This is way different. Its good that you Brooks fans continue to wear but sorry it just isn't a beautiful romantic fairy tale ending you guys are celebrating.
That is what makes it difficult to watch.

I admit I have watched this show since the first season. Are any of you feeling it has gone down the drain or is it just me? I am not entertained with others pain. I deal with it 60 hours a week. It seems like it used to be less dramatic and heartbreaking. I might just be getting old and cranky! I don't see any scenario where this will end well. I feel for all of them

Atem, you crack me up, I remember you going thru the same thing with Ali and Roberto. Everything worked out there....and I know there were sc/s that showed more of the ending, but, you were still not sure. Take a risk, watch the show Monday, you will be pleased...

Des has stated that Brooks is like no other guy she has met, and based upon her choosing him however it goes down on Monday, I'm inclined to believe she hasn't changed her mind about that. She has been comforted to believe he does and will love her as much as she loves him, and more than she's ever had before.
The jury will be out as far as fairytale ending until they've gotten married and we see that for all intents and purposes, their feelings of love for each other are true in that sense of making the lasting commitment. I guess it's black or white for some...Brooks broke up, therefore, it's 100% certain he's not ready for commitment, he doesn't really love Des, he's ***insert whatever else he isn't*** and call it a wrap.
I'm hoping for everyone's sake that Des knows what she's always done in the past better than anyone else.

I agree 100%! I sure didn't like even reading about it let alone watching it.

Perfect post, nd4!! This truly is a farce, BUT at least there will be plenty of folks in the "Fan Forums for Des and Brooks" even long after they've broken up. I appreciate your realism. Thanks!

ahhhh, nd...no then we are not on the same page at all.
have you gone back and really listened to what went down this past monday, I'm not kidding, put on earphones, turn on your closed captions, and see if you can to read what is being said. people have jumped to the conclusion that Brooks did not love Des, and that is not what it was all about to begin with. start with his arrival in Idaho and then go forward. not that it will change your mind, but perhaps give you an insight as to his thinking and why he thought breaking up was the best thing for Des. it was obvious to many of us that he was in love, but unsure what that looked like, and it didn't look like he thought it should. needless to say he was analyzing everything.
oh well, I can't convince you or anyone else what I heard and saw, so I might as well quit. plus, if Des gets her heart broke after picking Brooks at the end, she will survive that as will he. it is her show, her life and her mistakes to make. I didn't listen to what people were telling me when I chose my husband, and am I ever blessed that I didn't.

Honestly I think I would have to be paid to watch that over again. Cannot do it. I appreciate the pointer as to his reasoning etc. but each of us has their own compass (moral or otherwise) and him on mondays show did not quite go with mine.
I saw and heard things that made me extremely sad for Des ending up with him so its all good.
As for me - I chose not to go on a TV show for others to judge my relationship so will have a great camping weekend and then come monday - decide if I should watch at all or not.
