I wouldn't doubt that Zak picked a real gold ring with a real stone and TPTB replaced it with a cheap fake one that he could throw away. They are slick with some things they edit and not so much with others.

It was bought from Primrose and Company and they didn't even mention Zak visiting their shop. So, I don't think the shop cares if he threw it out or not.

I think the ring Zak gave Des was the ring from the SC. I paused and it looked the same. I'll try to take a pic and post both.

What screen cap, Albean? The one with the gray coat? Because that one is definitely different, they have different bands.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what the ring(s) have anything to do with the rest of the story. What am I missing??

Never mind. I see you're right. Nice to know for sure. It must be Chris as we thought in the beginning until we talked ourselves into it being Zak. :Nod:

It matters because it's proof of someone being in the f2, LLiza. If it were Brooks we'd know he was for sure at the FRC. Ditto for Drew. We're pretty sure already that Chris is there so is less a big deal. At least we know Zak won't be showing up now.

When I first saw the ring in the deleted scene, I thought it was something from a collectable shop..The one he tossed out the window looked way larger in ring size than the one she placed back in his hand.
