Drew: He is in love for the first time. That means it probably wouldn't last. I'm now a lot less worried about him "interfering" with her and Brooks. Of course, he could be one of the twists. If she chooses him I'd have to rethink Desiree.

Chris: They're making fun of him. I've noticed it several times before, all the way to the early part of the season. They wouldn't make fun of the F1 like that. Cue: relief. I don't understand why they're making fun of him, though. He seems too nice to be made fun of.

Brooks: (This will be a long one) His HTD could not have been any better. They've always shown Brooks as having a conflict (being the first date, a broken finger keeping him from the RC—cue the hero returns music; slow to the finish line, fear of getting his heart broken), but they've always given him respect in the editing. And attention. I'm grateful for that.

I loved that he almost dumped them in the lake. That couldn't have been any more perfect. I was hoping they'd fall all the way in, though.  

I love that he told his family that he likes kissing Des, so blatantly. Well, I guess that question's answered.

No wonder his family means so much to him. I think he's lucky to have them.

The home for his date was amazing. That view.

Brooks had a lot he was hiding because his family's extraordinary. He has hidden depths.

Des said she liked that he still managed to be adorable when he was lying on the ground with a broken finger, in pain. Ahhh.

The gallant man waving goodbye to her and running his fingers through his hair.

I even loved the sweater he wore. He has interesting style, but sometimes it's a definite hit.

His mom is a strong leader and he adores her. She trusts his judgement completely, which makes him trustworthy. His sister is striking and direct with her brother; his brothers are fun and sarcastic, just like him, and want to know if she can "hang" with him, because they think their brother is a catch. They also want to thank her for "not being a waste of time." The Foresters are amazing.

But all of this did make me wonder about Des. His family is amazing. Seeing Brooks in his element made him look different, gave him new depths. DOES she really fit into his life? CAN she really "hang" with Brooks, or, *gasp* is he actually too good for her?

She always loves the wrong men.

Would he want to align himself with her bullying brother? Or, will her creeper brother (lurking in the doorway is funny) become noble and play the hero in the end? (Making her seem slightly more equal). Yes, if her brother did Brooks a good turn, his own sister a good turn, that might start to equal out the scale a little more.

Did he make a decision out of true love and the knowledge that he should be with her forever? I hope someday he finds that, that's for sure.

RC: They showed Brooks commenting about Zac, more than once, which I thought was interesting and just another strange change this season. Brooks is thinking when he says it, and frankly, I like thinking Brooks, a lot. Don't change, Brooks.

Coming Up: Brooks says something, feels a certain way and Des doesn't like it. She is angry/hurt, storms off. He is blindsided and beside himself wondering how he can fix it/if he'll lose her. He leaves. She's sad. This lover's rift won't last.

i think so too but it was this ring in the SC and not the one he bought in AC. that AC ring, which was set in gold, seems to have disappeared.

Secondly, it is not a far jump to think very generalized descriptions of the ring were given (if a description other than price and carats for each were given) and Wetpaint then supplied pictures of what they thought the rings looked like.

Regarding the bolded on Drew's date.  Is that just because she wouldn't of chosen your favorite? By you saying that you are a lot less worried about him "interferring", isn't that kind of harsh as you really don't know the extent that Des is feeling for Drew.  To me, she made it very obvious that she loves kissing him and is feeling a lot for him with how she kept pulling him in for the kisses and may I remind all, not all of them were closed mouth kisses neither.  I think that your assessment of the other HTD's wasn't spot on as I think there was a lot more to them than what you said/willing to see/or just not wanting to admit.  I do see Drew's HTD as one of the warmest heartwarming that there was.  Regarding Brooks HTD, you seemed to be more enamored by his family and him versus Des and the connection they were making.  I realize that Brooks is your fave, but in all honesty, do see some red flags and it might in all likely hood be HIM that causes the rift between them and not Des.  Got one more thing to add, you said that they have always given respect to Brooks in the editing.  What do you think of the respect level that has been given to say Zack and Drew?  I am not asking about Chris as you have made that obvious that you feel he hasn't been given the respect.

How do you know one went back to production? I am Not being ugly just asking how you know this.

If that is the case Wetpaint should not put up pictures until they see the actual ring.
