Could be a set up for later. But at the end Nate did seem to want to support Des if that is possible with his personality. To me he's trying to channel Eminem or some other rapper.

Has anyone else noticed in several of Brooks's dates with Des driving that Brooks seemed a little nervous about her driving. I've seen her sort of veer over the white line of these winding roads while she's having these conversations with him. Especially on the cloud nine one, with the dangerous drop offs... I noticed on the first date in the Bentley that Brooks seemed a bit nervous about her driving, too.
On this HT date, Brooks says something like "now I get to be in control.."" about steering the canoe. Too funny!

I kind of wonder if Nate spying on Brooks is forshadowing the coming issue and Nate is the one who wrecks things. With Brooks family as loving as they are, it would be something to contemplate to get into a family with Nate. Thud.

Not sire after watching exactly what happens but Des is in love with Brooks and he appears to be in love with her too. IMO

But that is exactly the thing. If I had not watched any previews I would never have pegged Brooks as leaving. I would have merely thought he was being cautious and going at his own pace somewhat like Tessa on Andys season. As a occasional causal view I would not see him leaving at all. His HTD seemed fine and he seemed happy his Mother was giving him her blessing. Neither did she indicate any doubt at all.
So after the ending being handed to us on a silver platter of Brooks being the F1 as she "seems" to be so gung ho on him, Brooks leaves and that is what the "out of left field" thing is all about. The ending is still confussing me as I honestly don't know if the Brooks F1 spoiler is correct with the editing that they are doing. I just don't see it.

I just don't see how Brooks is the F1 with the editing this season, the editing from seasons past and how the editing will say one thing, but the opposite will eventually happen. Like Des is making out that it is a done deal with Brooks, therefore, with how seasons past have gone, that means that Brooks isn't a done deal and that there will be some other kind of ending.

Brooks leaving and coming back fits with the move in the MTA. They can't have the MTA with Brooks there as the F3 when he is going to come back and be the F1.

I liked her reaction. She did not geek out or scream. She handled it like a trouper. Tells me a lot about her. :yes:

Brooks is just not that into her. I don't see it. I can't blame him though, or anyone else. It's not an easy way to fall in love.

Totally OT here, but I wonder why at this stage of the game there is a resounding silence from Des IRL. This does not scream happiness, but jives with weirdness.
In past seasons, even if only to paint the picture of happiness TPTB want, you hear more re: the main. Very quiet.

I think he's into her but he definitely was looking to either convince himself or have his family convince him of the relationship last night. This crazysauce show aside, homeboy's got some issues with something.
