I'm not sure how to feel about Chris' HTD. Parts were sweet, parts were awkward and parts were just ho hum. Sorry Chrisville! I don't want to feel this way, but I'm being totally honest. I don't doubt for a second that there were some very amazing parts that are on the cutting room floor, but that is not what TPTB wanted to portray.

Brooks is the man!!! I can't figure this one out. At. All. He was the most open we have ever seen him. His family loved Des. Every conversation was meaningful and heartfelt. He even told Des when he saw her that he was running!!! Did you catch that? I can't fathom what happens to make him leave. I'm not even 100% convinced he does, except for the conversation between Des and Chris Harrison during their pre-RC chat. There is no other reason she would say she wanted to go home.

I know I'm more cynical than some, but I just feel some major producer manipulation going down here. Sophie calls it brilliant (Love you Soph!). Whatever you call it, they are masters at it!

I won't be able to snark so much in my blog this week. I feel the contestants are fair game because they signed up for it, but as far as the families go...no. I am going to treat them with complete respect. Even the ~~breast pump~~ up Chris' nose will not be mentioned.

I know, it makes for a boring blog...so I'll make it short and sweet!

First... LOVE YOU TOO BEE!

Second.. I missed the bolded... looking forward to my rewatch Smiley

3rd... please please please... at least mention the "blow job"! giggling

After re-watching Brooks' HTD, my ears perked up when he said he does not have enough time with her always to figure out his feelings. It is likely going to be a while before he really gets to spend time with her again in Antigua (not counting RC in LA) so I think that stretch is the opportunity for him to take a step back again. Don't see how the BSG time would be any other time than before or during the day part of their FD. Chris and Drew are both tanner in later FD/LCD caps.

BTW, what was the point of Nate's appearance tonight? It was useless filler (and took away from time for the HTDs) unless it is a setup for something later. Likely he rears his head again down the line.

Can someone confirm something for me please:

As Des was driving away from Brooks, we see him standing watching the car drive away, looks like he blows a kiss or puts his palm to his mouth, at the same time, you hear a car door close and a guy (I'm thinking Brooks) whisper "I love you"

Did anyone else hear that????

He does whisper something but I don't think it was "I love you." It sounds more like either "take care" or "see you later" or something like that.

Wondering the same thing auntie. Especially the part where Nate is 'spying' on Brooks as he goes to the RC with Chris. Just dumb in my opinion but maybe it will make sense later.

I think she acts scared of him/leery. I think he's kind of abusive to her. Not physically. Just mentally or emotionally. As evidenced by how she acts around him and also the way he wants to "get into (her suitors') heads". It's all so bullying. And frankly, I could see Brooks not wanting to be a part of that. He has such a great family.
