We don't like having to remind members what our rules are, but please take the time to re-read them here.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Having a healthy discussion/debate is allowed and welcomed, but attacking members because they don't agree with you isn't.
There is a different in stating your viewpoint and defending that verses telling another member they are wrong because they don't have the same viewpoint as you.
Avoid being condescending when defending your opinion. If you can't post something without bashing another member just skip their posts and move on to the next one.
As always if you have any questions or concerns then contact San or I. We will handle the situation. It helps if you contact us about an issue before it escalates.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reminder Love_Me...
Question, since my "language barrier" seems to be in hyper-mode: should I be considering "stepford fan" as an insult (in my mind, the reference to "Stepford wives" is not positive, was it meant to be one?) or a compliment? (yes, I pride myself on giving people the benefit of the doubt and supporting BachelorNation. The ones I dont like, I dont follow, blog about or comment on... ).

this makes a world of difference.
I hesitate bring this up because its not tied to the Bachelorette but I still think some-what relevant. Based on your avi and signature you are fan of Henry Cavill (aka superman) as I have for years when he was the Duke of Suffolk on Tudors. So you'll have to excuse me for pointing out the irony in your poo-pooing the cast for being effeminate and perhaps disingenuous in their interest of women while adoring Henry who has been accused of the same thing for nearly a decade.
If you have followed him through the years then you are aware that he himself as been accused of being "effeminate" in the past and has been rumored to be gay for years. This is because before Henry made it big in Hollywood, many of his friends were gay and they would hang out everywhere in Hollywood. And while Henry has stated publicly that he is not gay and has dated women, the rumors still persist.
All this does not matter but the larger point I am trying to illustrate is that just because someone doesn't conform to a stereotype doesn't mean that their sexuality should be called into question. So if they may come off a little effeminate or hang out with gay people in West Hollywood, like Henry, people should be allowed to be who they are and feel comfortable in their own skin without the judgments. Peace.

I can promise you, what most think is snark here---is actually those who usually snark refraining quite a bit.
No good deed goes unpunished.

I don't quite understand your generalizations about Drew. Not all guys go for the windswept look, doesn't mean they're vain. Having seen a few candid pics of Drew, he often wears a ball cap and doesn't dress up.
Albean, I agree!! These "generalizations" being used with Drew are the very same ones that when said about Brooks are taken as a putdown on HIS masculinity. Isn't that supposed to be off limits here? Drew has own individual "look", but I don't think that it takes him any longer to shower and shave than it does for the rest of the guys.

I remember during Sean's season the ladies were asked (I assume by the producers), how long they take to get ready...and there was a chart. Cat was the pee and go type, while Ashley admitted to 3 hours. I wish they had done the same for the guys. I think some would be shocked. My brother spends more time on his hair than his fiancee and I put together...And don't think we don't make fun of him for it!!!

We probably don't know how long these guys take to get ready. They are being recorded to be on national tv! Heck, I usually only take about 30 min or so but if I knew I would be on a tv I would probably take 6 hrs! I'm sure they guys are taking more time(with the exception on brooks hair lol) to look nice and to be appealing to des than they do in their normal setting back at home.

The preview clips are up at the vid threads, for those that can see it.
Anything I post means it's Just My Opinion. Don't feel like posting it every time I post. So, I thought I'd get that out of the way.
