Chariot and sprite..I agree with you.totally..let's just hope next season of the Bachelor they have a lead who can carry it..
I do think if the spoiler are correct DES made her mind up early.I think she really struggled to get thru this..And they do have a show to produce..
I have never seen so much drama.Having said that Fleiss did say it sells..not in my book..and you are spot on about the minulation they get un the guys head and to top it all off the alcohol flows freely.
For example Many past contestants have said that they will drive them around for hours in the limo just to get them to cry.

I am not them, but I can answer for me:
I like seeing travel locales I have been, too. Although, this has not worked out so well on a couple seasons.
I think the show is funny--sometimes hysterical--example: Plo's season on LCD he and Sadie went scuba diving in the hotel pool--REALLY?? I loved the MASK. I liked nothing about M's season, but Ryan and occasionally RE--but Ryan was a riot. Yawn's season was a Yawn for me.
I like the mystery game I have created in my mind since the first few seasons called "sleuthing". The game does not stop just because we know the F1 or think we do, as there are also other fun pitstops along the way.
I do not watch this show for romance. Romance is my spouse of 34 yrs putting up with this silly pleasure of mine and letting me watch week after week on his big screen tv (amongst other things).
I love snarking on it.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, bye Felicia!

I have yet to make it through a whole episode this season, and yet I watched the whole season of Jake, who I dislike greatly. That's how bad this season is to me. And it isn't because Des or the guys are unlikable, it's just boring. I tune in every week thinking maybe something will happen to spark my interest, and nothing. Not even their manufactured drama is doing it for me this time. Old habits do die hard though.

For the record, I certainly didn't tell you to shut up or try to tell you what to think, say or feel. I am aware that everyone has a right to post any thoughts they have on this site. This posting is new to me and my question was an honest one...you seem to find the show distasteful so I was confused about why do you continue to watch it? So now I know...you don't watch it. You come to the site, read what other people have posted and respond to their posts. I guess people too watch the show for many reasons not just because they are hoping for a great love story.
Thanks for the info on blocking people...I didn't know we could do that.

For people who wants to block me
its in the foe/friends part, put my name and voila.
People go to McDonalds to get breakfast out of habit.
They develop a love and hate relationship with the franchise
whether they admit it or not.
But if they complain that pancakes are soggy and the coffee is cold to the management as another customer,
would you ask them "why dont you get coffee from jack in the box?"
I mean I wouldnt.
I never question why people do what they do, or why they post what they post in forums. Its just
part of being polite and respectful. But its just me.

Of course I would! Why would anyone go somewhere they can't get food they like???
More to the point, I don't think you were asked "why you post" but why you watch... Which you answered, since you don't :)

Because we cannot get McDonalds from Jack in the Box sophie, that is the point
as to the last question, I think that was rude to tell people 'Why dont you just stop watching?"
We cant all be a stepford fan.
Its like telling the people on here to stop participating in this forum if youre just gonna complain about the show.
Its hurtful and very dismissive. I am going through withdrawals but I have to go through the Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance
phase. I dont understand why people have to be rude about my process of grief.

GREAT POST!!!! We all have our own reasons for watching the show. To me, it's like not watching your favorite sports team anymore because they lost a big game. Heck I'll watch the show even if I don't like the lead just for the $hit and giggles. ; ).

This leg crossing thing has me puzzled... I saw my dad cross his legs from time to time and he fathered 8 children. I also saw more than a couple men with their legs crossed in the group sitting I was in last week, so I don't think just because a man crosses his legs from time to time makes him less of a man Of course, this is JMHO, but I can also agree with some of the things that have been brought up such as having to fight for time in front of the mirror and such ( I wouldn't want that.)...I think beside the meat heads we've had this season it's just makes some things more noticeable like the leg crossing... I can remember Sean from last season crosses his and Brad did his, so does Chris H. See what I mean? I don't think that makes them any less of a man. My 2 cents. LOL
