Brooks was in LA a few weeks ago and it was speculated at least in PM if not on the board. He has also been suspicious quiet of social media this past week.

Yup, in his thread it was discussed.  He was there just before the show started airing. Week of 5/19.
Also both he and Des were quite in social between last thurs. and over the weekend but it could be coincidental too!

All I know is I hope they make it. That would be so awesome.

I am with you caynonvue. These two were so comfortable with each other from day one. Plus he watched Seans season and was glad that Des was the bachelorette. SO he had a crush on her going into this. THey also like the same things. IMO this is what soul mates look like.

Actually for die hard fans/sleuthers who in past seasons hound dogged this info it is extremely surprising nothing has been heard regarding secret get-aways or even speculation regarding such.

Maybe he isn't getting away. He is Mormon, after all. If he's an active Mormon then he's not going to want to get away and spend a weekend with a woman, unmarried. It's a big no-no. It's just not right or good in our books. Maybe they're just maintaining a long distance relationship until they can date out in the open.

In really doubt that they have not met up since the show ended.  They could barely keep their hands off each other in the igloo motel.  I am sure since they are engaged they do want to be together face to face.

Me, too. Just suggesting that maybe that's why no sightings. Just throwing it out there, like everything else. They could still get together without shacking up and doing the naughty.

From my sleuthing it seems Brooks IS Mormon (that's already known), went to a singles ward two years ago. His recent activity level is not known. And he served his mission in Uruguay, which means he knows Spanish. Someone ask him something in Spanish! Hmm. Well, they are going to Spain. If he starts speaking Spanish we know something there.

Some of us have been noticing a few flaws from an editing pov ourselves but now figure that the editing will leave everything in (well not scenes with Drew and Des because hey why should we lol). But yeah they are showing the flaws and all. Which makes very little sense but perhaps post-season we will understand why.

Brooks was going to interrupt James and Des' time IMO not spy. He just didn't expect to see them enjoying each other as they were. On the positive side, at least he saw Des kissing another guy right then and there so if he's F1 won't be surprised that he wasn't the only one kissed.

Yea, true. Maybe there isn't much that they can put onto Brooks to cast doubts compared to say Courtney where there were plenty of things to cast doubt on her being F1. I just think that if the guy is F1, it seems weird to cast him as being shifty and spying on Des and James time.

Barb - I agree! Pretty sure that the guys were dissing on James and then Brooks told them he was heading over there to interrupt date. For all we know, he did but they just didn't show us! I thought that entire scene was really funky editing in play and it was made us to think that she was kissing James longer than she actually was. Her frame or the way she was sitting was off ... she was leaning away while James was lying towards her.

I think that because she is so darn ga-ga over Brooks, they have to do something to make him look not like Mr. Perfect. It seems that TPTB have no issue throwing the lead under the bus to 1) protect ending and 2) build up/shine a kinder spotlight on candidates for next Bachelor.

Pretty sure that CHris Harrison called Catherine "weird" or "odd" or something like that when it was getting towards the end in one of his blogs. Seemed that CH was always looking to shed doubt on Cat in his blogs UNTIL his finale blog while doing everything possible to let us know that Sean made the mistake of his life sending away Des.
