I guess it is because we are spoiled, but I just see Des being different with Brooks. I guess that is what happens when we are spoiled. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I noticed the exact same thing you did. What was really telling to me was when Desiree told Brooks that "she missed him". I don't remember a lead ever telling a contestant other then their F1 that.

I agree with you both. It's obvious she likes him; and vice versa. I don't recall a lead ever talking so much about a contestant after they've left for the hospital. Brooks was still on her mind. A lot.

Spoiled or unspoiled, they just seemed to have this unspoken look between them when he asked what she had been doing (paraphrasing) and she said "Nothing. I just missed you." I was surprised she said it outright, and first.

They did. They speak through their eyes. I loved that part.

Emily told Arie a few times that she missed him and that he was the one that she thought about when she was alone etc.  I don't think that kind of talk is necessarily an indication of who the eventual F1 is - but I do think it's an indication of who the lead cares for the most, even if it doens't end up working out.  Graham, Frank and Arie are the ones that come to mind when talking about who the lead really was into, circumstances (whether it be a contestant wanting out or the lead running scared due to career aspirations, love of money etc) may change the outcome, but not where the heart of the lead was.   From what I see with Des and Brooks is that he's the one that she's drawn to the most and feels a natural ease and connection to him.  Despite all her kissing, to me, she's like a fish out of water doing this show, and I think Brooks is the guy that provides some safety and security during this process.  Will it work out in the long run?  no clue, but I do think that he was the guy, out of all the other guys, that she was drawn to and enjoyed spending time with him right from the beginning.

I agree with that, too.

I agree with northernviewer, also.  In this case, we have that instant connection, and it appears to continue to grow and make it all the way to the end.

I remember em telling arie when she was alone he was the one she thought about! I'm fine with brooks being f1 and I def see the chemistry but if I was unspoiled I don't think I would peg him as f1 based off of what we have saw so far! He and Bryden are the obvious from runners to the general audience cause that's the only two Shea had that time to really connect with IMO of course

Sorry, but he looks likes someone who would. He is not a happy camper and that could spell trouble. He might have a lot of anger issues.
