Loved the deleted Zak/Des first kiss one. The James one is hilarious.

I thought there was obvious chemistry between her and Brooks but I also didn't think she was that worried about him.She seemed more interested in being fair to the other guys and getting to know them one by one in the group date. I think she was honestly trying to give other guys a chance too. JMO. I think Chris really surprised her. She said something to him about how it was the smallest thing that mattered to her. the looks he kept giving her during that day and etc.

I thought that her talk with Chris at the group date reminded me so much of JP and Ashley in Hong Kong. Not sure why I thought that way thou.

ABC was second in ratings and total viewers with a 1.6/5 and 5.2 million. "The Bachelorette" was even with last week for a 1.7/5 and had 5.6 million total viewers

I finally watched the episode and sorry to burst anyone's balloon but Brooks did not have an open fracture where his bone went thru the skin. If there was blood, it was maybe his fingernail breaking. Open fractures are at severe risk for infection...no way a week later in Atlantic City he would have no bandage on his finger. Even a compound fracture he would still be bandaged. He had a finger jam or break which is painful but really no big deal. I can't believe what a big fuss was made out of nothing but that's the show. I am not changing my mind that he is a big wuss. giggling

i coudnt agree with you more, Kelad 9!! :Smiley:...especially if you read her People blog that she didnt mention AT ALL that Brooks has came back to visit her, instead Chris got a whole praising paragraph........go Chris!!:Clap:

I don't know what the diagnosis was, but I thought it was pointed out that in the Mr. America picture, where they are all lined up and holding hands, you can see his finger bandaged with the metal splint.

It's still on. He's not a wuss. It's the ER people that were all over him for some reason. And nobody knows what happened. I thought he handled it pretty well, even saying to Desiree, "It's just a broken finger" when she was fussing over it.

The ER folks were the ones treating him like he was dying. He wasn't asking them to.

I noticed the exact same thing you did. What was really telling to me was when Desiree told Brooks that "she missed him". I don't remember a lead ever telling a contestant other then their F1 that.

Desiree is very easy to read. Like I have already stated she is Brooks sprung. In my opinion she has already decided he's the one, she can't help it once they prick your heart, that's it, it's over. She will carry the show on, but her mind is made up.

You are right that the editors of the show made it seem as if he should be read his last rites. If indeed Brooks is the F1 (and if indeed the producers like him), why would they edit him so poorly that some viewers might consider him to be "a wuss". They have hours and hours and hours of footage to use, and THAT is what they choose? They can still create drama without making Brooks appear soft. I don't see the method to their madness. If I were Brooks and I was the winner of this game, I'd be annoyed that I was misrepresented just to hide the fact that I won.
