Fractures hurt, but it seemed a little over the top to me. My hubby compound fractured his finger and his bone was sticking out of the skin. He pushed the bone back in, scrubbed it up, super glued the skin, wrapped the finger and went back to work. (Refused to go the ER over such a *little* thing, no matter my protests)
Personally, I think anytime skin is broken by bone though, you should have a dr look at it. I would've been protesting too!

Don't forget Tierra coming back to the party after her 'near death experience.' When tptb latch onto a plot, they're like a dog with a bone.
I kinda feel bad for Ben because I don't think he has done anything so villainous as the producers are trying to make it seem.

Ya, ignoring medics and drs would be a liability and much less dramatic! Broken bones hurt like heck--had several myself---and I dont believe he was faking--more like milking it; or TPTB were, I should say.
My hubby totally should have gone to the hospital! (I should have knocked him out and driven him). He dislikes seeing the dr despite being a clinical pharmacist.

I don't think there's anything wrong with seeking ER treatment for a facture, not to mention the extra risk of infection from a compound fracture. I'm sure Brooks didn't have a choice on whether he wanted to go or not. I work for a hospital and see/read patient records daily; you would not believe the things people go to the ER for and think nothing of calling ambulance when they don't have a ride. This is warranted.

I'm not in the medical profession at all and I agree. Neither he nor the producers could be casual about any sort of injury.
But honestly the injury that Ames (on Ashley's season) got was really scary for me and I wonder at the wisdom of the producers allowing him back at the after party. HE looked like he was going to pass out.

I enjoyed the episode last night. What stood out to me was how Des kept saying she was enjoying the after party after the dodgeball date, but she couldn't help thinking about Brooks and him not being there and being hurt. I guess it is because we are spoiled, but I just see Des being different with Brooks. I guess that is what happens when we are spoiled.

At this point, it is not salient point to me that Des was over-worried about Brooks. By this episode she has had only two one-on-one dates and, with the addition of Bryden, she knows those two the best. She has the most invested in them. I think that the spoilers have many of you reading too much into this. Now if she is still dreaming about Brooks when she is with others in episode 6 or 7, then I think you all may have a point!!

Welcome Bel Canto.
I know and so right!!! Which I why I said that is what spoilers will do to you. I should probably just keep my thoughts to myself about it since it clouds my vision. :cutesmile!:

You can obviously see their chemistry. It was there from the start. Chemistry needs little time to exist.

yeah, Ames was scary! That Muy Thai date shouldn't have probably been allowed.
