That was my point too, Piper. First, CH got it wrong. Des is the one who started that game, so to state that Brooks is less articulate or mature than either Drew or Chris is not being fair or accurate. Having code names is a "red flag"? It was all in fun, geez. He seems to really have it in for Brooks.

You've made great points, Mustang. Whatever his reasons, he certainly hasn't been kind to Brooks with his words, even though he said Brooks isn't a bad guy. It was all in fun, and having code names actually makes sense on a show where the lead is forbidden from telling anyone her true feelings until the end. What was the harm to anyone?? Don't tell me no one else here or anywhere else doesn't have silly games they play with each other, or inside jokes that others might not understand.Mustang19 wrote:Piper61 wrote:I think it's pretty silly to be putting down the two of them for their verb/adjective association game. Right...unless he believes his being host of this show and starting his dating website makes him an authority on relationships.atem wrote:Piper61 wrote:I think it's pretty silly to be putting down the two of them for their verb/adjective association game. I think it's silly for him to make a big deal out of it myself. He's not the world's authority on relationships.

That was my point too, Piper. First, CH got it wrong. I think Brooks was the one with the idea but Des was the first one to say hers.

Didn't I read somewhere that CH says he feels very protective about his 'girls'? Would CH be so straight up about his negative feelings about Brooks if Des and Brooks were together?

Thinking back, I don't know of any F1 to the bachelorette he has been really fond of. He is usually the F2 guy. Ben, Chris L, Reid, Jason, Those guys he loved. But with Brooks he seem to have just gotten mean...
