Correction, Tim wore a peacock feather in episode three, not episode two. Episode two was only Ben and Ernesto.

I just watched epi 3, and you're right - he wears a feather in the garden, but I'm not sure it's a peacock feather. It looks more elongated rather than round, and more discreet. On the other hand, I found this HuffPost interview where he is wearing a HUGE peacock feather. It does look like a shout out to Jenna.

When I saw this picture on Tim's instagram with the caption "King of the Mountain" two weeks ago, I didn't get it because where the heck are the darn mountains. On Tim's date with Sara in the mountains, he shouts "I'm the king of the world...!". It could may very well be a shout-out to Sara! He just replaced "world" with "mountain".

Typically, I would be all over this, but now that I know they all read here, I'm hesitant to say much about them! haha Reminds me of that season we went on for pages and pages discussing whether or not Chanal O'brien's boobs were real, come to find out she was reading the whole thing!

NOO Noobs. This should be your safe place to say what is on your mind. We should not have to be PC here - "oh they are all lovely people, etc."

I feel like this is MY place to post and say what I want. These are folks who chose to appear on reality tv. No one forced them.
They knew that they would elicit commentary and some of it would not be what they wish to hear. If they voluntarily come to "our place", that exists solely to discuss and dissect these shows , then they ought to be prepared not to be as coddled as they are in their real lives. I'm not their friend or family , after all. If they don't wish to read criticism, then they really ought not be here. period. I dont feel sorry for my opinions or critiques in the least.

OK fine tiz, but only because you convinced me. Docnash will probably totally go, "SMH" on me, but here goes!:

I don't think Tim was over what happened with Whitney which makes me wonder if he really did seek counseling. I'm sooo glad it wasn't brought up on the show alot, but I think that there is a part of him that resents himself for not giving up his music career. I don't want to say that he should have never gone looking for love, but in the video they showed on FB of him, he's one melancholy dude. *Sitting at the bar, alone, drinking by himself* makes me think, he still thinks about it... and alot... and it makes him really sad! Sometimes I wonder if there was never any closure with that relationship because I could see as really beneficial for him if Whitney could somehow make him realize it was all for the best and that both will come out better for it. At the beginning of the season I didn't see him feeling that way at all, he gave no indication he would be better off without that relationship. Even though his relationship ended a few years ago, I see him as far in the healing process as Sara. I hope both benefited from this personal journey.

I hate to go too judgmental because he is still with his choice and in love and his mom keeps saying how happy he is. If anything, this relationship will be a good beginning to finding something permanent again. This is probably the first real relationship he has had since his divorce and I hope they don't rush into marriage.

I AM glad though, that he found someone he connected with and in such a strong way that the relationship continues to flourish. He seems like a really good guy (to me anyway).

First, I agree with Tiz.. very well stated. I hope everyone will express their opinions freely here, without fear of backlash. Otherwise, it quickly becomes all the same.. i.e... Seancat fan threads. And we have been having such a fun time, everyone has their own viewpoints and it's been accepted so well. These are some of the best threads EVER.

Noobs.. we were only given one reason why his marriage ended. That he was traveling too much with his band. There are solutions for that problem. I didn't take that at face value. What if his lifestyle after being in the band for awhile was not aligning with hers? Maybe Jenna looks like her, BUT her personality could be very different and her lifestyle may line up perfectly with his. I don't buy that we were shown the whole Tim. We got a sanitized version which to me, is why it may seem like Sara lines up with him. After his divorce, I can totally see him wanting to check the lifestyle box IF that is one reason his marriage failed. This is not a judgement on either Tim or Jenna. I like them both from what we have been shown. I can just see them being more similar and I don't think it's all about her age or beauty. She will not judge his lifestyle because it is just like hers. I don't think this is an immaturity either, it's just who they are at this stage of their life. IMH(keepaustinweird)O

I said what I did because, I think at the beginning of this and for the last few years he might have resented the fact that he didn't leave the band to save his marriage. I really think this a true testament to who he is ... such a great man IMO. Anyway, this is why I had hoped at some point they would have came to an understanding that, besides from the turmoils of dating someone in a traveling band, that they would be better off without each other, and that's a feeling I didn't get from him. I can see now that he is very happy and in a great relationship so I hope and pray that for Jenna's sake those initial issues that I saw have been resolved. Almost a year in secrecy together and I would say so!

I agree that Jenna seems to have a well rooted life in Austin (many friends and family) and that probably was appealing to him. He never has to worry about leaving his lady (who moved for him) in a strange city where she knows next to no one while he is on the road.

Litta as far as I know they are touring coming up June 2. They are releasing a new album with 4 songs. They haven't released any new music since like 2010. And they have the singles as well.

so glad this is over for me....enjoyed reading everyones comments about the show but since Hailey is gone and I know that Jenna wins...I'm done....I'm sure we will hear the truth about the whole show sooner or later.....Ernesto and Eva....Tim and Jenna...and Ben and Angela but I hear he dumps her and goes back to Kari....I wonder if Angela gave up the gift to Ben before he left..
