Sarah, what was the process like for getting on the show? Did Tracy interview you more than once, like over the phone, then in person? Did other people interview you? How long did it take? How did you find out you were chosen?

it was different for every person! some applied through facebook after the show/bachelors were announced on the Today Show and some were contacted by casting directors. I had a phone interview with 2 matchmakers (one being Matt who had be crying my eyes out on the phone when i said I wasn't sure I was ready because of my broken heart. Matt is amazing with advice!).

matt seems like a cool person to hang out with. did you or the other girls get to spend much time talking with him off camera? not necessarily talking about the show or how to "win" the guy, but just hanging out and talking about other stuff? my other question is about how much "down time" you have while the show is taping. are there days when nothing is happening and you and the girls have to fill the time on your own? or is it just a non-stop whirlwind of activity?

Wow, talk about how editing can be misleading. It reinforces how the current editing is potentially unreliable, IMO.

yes, but the editors have a story to tell. My time with Tim wasn't as important as showing Jenna's or Christina's, especially since I had a 1on1 later that evening. Having 3 bachelors and 3 sets of girls, a lot gets tossed and only the important stuff stays, so they have to peice it together so that it makes some sense. sucks, but thats hollywood i guess!

GULP! That's not very encouraging to me as a Jenna fan...right now a lot of her "good stuff" is being left on the cutting room floor. We know because we have some screen caps of her Hawaii date...and of her 1-on-1 time with Tim in this last episode. So for some reason, Jenna's edit is lessening the connection to Tim and causing the viewer to see her in a less than flattering light. At least, that how I'm seeing it as an edit. I'm hoping the reason for it is to put doubt in the viewers mind because her connection to Tim is so strong...

You know what I really like about your story is that Eddie pursued you when he thought there might be a possibility of losing you. That's very romantic...what a great story to have! So what are the prospects of a teaching opening near Chapel Hill? In other words, is it likely that you'll be able to find an opening that you'd like? What are you getting your masters degree in?...or did you already say and I missed it?

I totally agree! It was very eye-opening when my boyfriend of 2.5 years who broke my heart never told me not to go do the show, but Eddie did I'm not sure how the job prospect is! The district hasn't posted their jobs yet. I'm just leaving it all in God's hands and having faith that it'll work out. I'll take a job in any school as long as I can move closer to Eddie! I'm getting my Masters in Teaching

I'm not sure how much time Matt spent with his girls. I got to talk to Tracy a bit off camera while shots were being set up...but it was always about random stuff.

we had downtime everyday...if you count downtime as sitting around and waiting :) we had a lot of downtime...lots of naps...lots of laying out. but we would film something everyday!

Wow that would be so awesome, you girls are the best!
Your insights will get all of the die hard fans through the next to weeks, as you've probably seen we are all so curious to see what will happen in the end.

Just one question about Tim; was he more open to you girls about what he is truly looking for and what makes him the person he is? I think the most important thing missing for all of the fans of Tim's story here is we don't really get to hear him eloborate on what drives him except his music and his family....

All insights are welcome at this point, think you've had a great group of girls with so many qualities at the end! Thank you for sharing from the Netherlands!!

That's how I'm beginning to feel about Jenna too....I like all the girls, but in all honesty I'll be devastated if Tim doesn't end up picking Jenna! I just keep going back to a few people on here saying there is a HUGE twist at the end and Tim doesn't pick who you think he's going to pick. In my mind that would mean he ends up picking Sara L. over Jenna :(

I keep trying to remind myself about all of the mountains of info. you've posted supporting Jenna as the f1, Litta. But I don't know....I'm getting worried....

i definitely am open to becoming a reading specialist or going into administration or even get out of the school and go into policy making! I want to feel like I've conquered the classroom first, which may never happen...but I don't want to be in the classroom forever.

i definitely am open to becoming a reading specialist or going into administration or even get out of the school and go into policy making! I want to feel like I've conquered the classroom first, which may never happen...but I don't want to be in the classroom forever.

one of my bf's went from teaching in the classroom (early elementary grades) to now being a teacher's teacher. she shuttles between 2 schools and teaches the teachers how to improve what they do, especially in the area of writing instruction. she loves it. doesn't miss the interraction with the kids as much as she thought she would when she accepted the position.

Sarah, you've seriously impressed me by taking the time to spend with the RFL fans...much appreciated!! You're a class act and you can walk away from this with your head held high...with some lifelong friends ...and a great guy. What an amazing journey the Lord took you on this past year.

Tell Jenna, that even though the edit shows doubt about her, she's got a ton of fans that are still believing!!!
