It almost seemed like Sara was trying to convince Tim why she would be good for him. If Tim has to be talked into it, it makes me question whether he's really feeling it for her. Almost like he's going to talk himself into why she'd be good.

But Jenna had to sell herself too. I guess she had the easier sales pitch - "why you can trust your fabulous instincts when it come to how great I am".

At this point, I'm over Ben and his girls. Allie is too much drama and her WV roots came out. She pulled an Emily Maynard 'hood rat' and I wish she'd been sent back to her trailer. Angela, I just can't buy into her yet. The proud virgin who has no problem lying on the couch in her short skirt with her tongue down Ben's throat. Um, okay. I might like Tarryn but she gets caught up in the drama with Allie next so I'll have to see how that plays out. Renae could be good for Ben but I think she falls in the friend category and Beth is just...there.

Tim - I like all of them so I don't have anything bad to say. I agree that Jenna has an energy about her and things just flow with them. Sara seems sweet and I like them together. And Hailey, well, she's still my favorite. While the matchmakers might not like her self-deprecating humor, I was glad to hear Tim say that's what he likes most about her. Good for her, being true to herself!

Ernesto - Shandi was just way too high maintenance. The guy lives in Miami and takes his boat out - there's no shallow water there! No way is he going to tube all by himself while she sits on the deck tanning. It's too bad she couldn't let him talk her into getting wet; that would've made him feel nice and in control. I really felt bad for Alba - no wonder she doesn't care for Shandi. I bet she sees Shandi as someone who gets things easily and hasn't gone through life problems. I think Amber gave us a glimpse into what Ernesto is really looking for - someone who looks good on his arm, the philanthropist's wife. And Shandi seems to definitely fit that bill best. I'm really curious to see what happens post-show.

OMG I can't stop laughing. You hit the nail on the head. I am actually crying I am laughing so hard. Allie WV hood rat :perfect description and Angela, OMG now thats some funny stuff. I really like Renae and Hailey, probably because both of them are low maintenance, no drama, down to earth, roll-with-the-punches type of girl. They're the types of girls that everyone wants to be friends with. Unfortunately it does seem like it'd also make them get friend-zoned. One of the matchmakers said to Hailey that Tim would keep her around for a while, only to not choose her in the end, and if all the sleuthing around this site is right, that's what's going to happen with her and Renae (I believe both of them would be F3).
As for Ernesto's girls, I like Alba, who seems to have depth to her. It seems like Ernesto is treating her perhaps more like family though, like a sister maybe.

BEN - Angela really grew on me this week and I'll be happy if she's his F1. I liked hearing that she's so used to taking care of her siblings and obviously she did just that with nutcase Allie. Yikes! I can't believe Allie goes to F2. But I bet Angela is a perfectionist and hard on herself so I hope that she lets her guard down even more with Ben. Something about those two ... I actually am surprised how much I like them together but I also like Renae quite a bit and Beth.

TIM - No surprise that Danielle got the boot this week and it's only time with the French women. I am not really a fan of Sara with Tim. She poured it on a bit too thick when they were at that tree. It seems like she's working more off of the matchmaker's script. I am with Matt ... ready to see a sexier side of Hailey. SHe's really awesome and the complete package but I agree she's got to tone down her self deprecating sense of humor or she'll be always in the friend zone with him. She needs to be vulnerable. At this point pretty obvious he and Jenna have the most chemistry & connection. I wouldn't be surprised whatsoever if she's F1 (even without post season photos for proof). I like Jenna ... she's sweet and sexy and they just are a nice fit.

ERNESTO - Well, I am back to team Alba again. I adore all water so just can't imagine anyone not wanting to jump in. He seems to have only eyes for the perfect Shandi but his connection is stronger with Alba. If he indeed picked Shandi at the end, I would be very happy to see him pull a Jason-switcheroo and now be with Alba. So happy that Erica left ... not a fan of her at all.

MVMom, I really agree with you regarding Angela. Initially, she left me blah, but now I see her really trying to make that connection...and it's happening. I, too, liked how she handled the Allie situation.

As a person, Renae has totally impressed me, but the only vibe I see with Ben is the friend zone.

Jenna and Tim's chemistry continues to sizzle. It kind of bothers me that it seems like Matt and Amber are wanting her to bring substance, but Tracy tells her to just keep doing what she's doing. Talk about conflicting messages. If Tim wants substance from Jenna, I think he could do a little better in asking Jenna some questions...but I guess that's a little difficult for him to do when all he does is kiss her. All. The. Time. :laughingoutlou

I would expect that we, the viewers, need to see some of that substance shown over the next few weeks or it may seem like a superficial pick...if, indeed, Jenna is the F1. If substance isn't shown, but Tim still picks her, I will be left entirely confused by the matchmakers advice. Thankfully, I'm married so I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

To me, some of the intrigue of this show is that single women might glean a thing or two to help them in their journey. Every single guy is going to be jumping up and down if the advice a single girl walks away with is "just make out with him" -- he'll pick you.

Moving on...I thought Hailey looked absolutely beautiful in this episode. CHO, she does seem to have a great heart. I really like her. Unfortunately, I think Hailey is falling behind both Jenna and Sara...and I think she is running out of time. Of all the girls, I think Tim would have loved for it to be Hailey because she's funny, beautiful, smart and mature. She also seems chill...no drama, low maintenance...very caring to the other girls. You know, she has made a couple of trips to Austin...hmmm.

J/K, still on the Jenna boat.

Sorry to backtrack...but do we have proof that Hailey has been to Austin?

Beb, according to her IG, Hailey made a trip in November. She has pics of Lake Austin. And, she tweeted Jenna in January that she would be there in a month...near VD...duh, duh, duh!

The women I know who are committed to virginity until marriage (from different religious backgrounds) all dress fairly modestly. They may not wear long sleeves everywhere, but they would never wear skirts slit up to "here" or the dress that Angela wore to the Derby. She seems very unusual in that regard. Or perhaps I just know a very small sample of women who share that commitment.

That's a ridiculous dress to wear virgin or not! Looks like fake boobs too? I like Beth for Ben, but don't see it happening. The season looks like a wash for Ben. Hope he's not back with Kari now.

Alba seems like a perfect match for Ernesto. Thing is.. maybe as a catholic he won't overlook the divorce. I just can't get over that Shandi is 35. I want to hear her story. Could they be tricking us with the shot of her hands? That was too easy.

Jenna is adorable thus far. I can see why Tim would be taken with her.

I think he seems comfortable because she is telling him all her faults - and she is comfortable laughing about it. She seems fun and stable - I like the way she claps for Sara (last episode) when she was singing with Tim, and the way she comforts the french girl (can't remember her name) when she is upset at the elimination ceremony. Despite her tearing herself apart frequently - Hailey seems to be the most somfortable in her own skin. She is not upset that they haven't kissed - things just seem to be progressing slowly. I wonder if we have analyzed the final ceremony pictures correctly - could the hair/head shot in the box be Hailey ?
That's exactly what I've been wondering! Maybe Sara is F3 and Hailey is F2. WISH we had more previews for the following weeks, it would help!

From what I have heard, Sara is definitely in the final two. And I don't know if Tim was able to see her non-serious side, but she definitely has one; from all accounts she can be very light-hearted and fun.
