Yes, the Rapper can be a nice guy for all we know. However, Catherine said during the FD that in relationships she's a "traditional" girl. How does a traditional girl pick a rapper, even albeit a very nice one? Not to be judgmental but it takes a certain personality and mindset to be a rapper, one would think. Going from dating a dark-haired, edgy rapper to being engaged to a 6'2" born-again blond Christian 6'2" is a huge gap to say the least.

She said, she's not a traditional person but she's tradional when it comes to relationships. She said that when she told Sean about her hesitation about the fantasy suite and she still wants to be seen as a lady. Also, it's not because she dated a rapper that that's all the type of a guy she's going to go out with or marry and dating someone that's not like her ex is a big question to her character even insinuating that she's misrepresented herself or not showing her true color to Sean just to get him. To me that's kind of harsh judging her character. I believe with Cath "what you see is what you get". Not pretentious at all. When she went on the show, she met Sean and fell in love. Also, I don't see anything wrong being a rapper as long as they are living a good life and not hurting people. There shouldn't be a big question mark on their character. JMO.

I just vigorously disagree that conservatives are open minded that is not true at all. If they are, racism will not even be associated with them.

But I could never understand non whites teaming up with white "conservatives". As most racist white rednecks will never associate with
colored people. It's like trying to be a member of a team that won't have you as a team member. I was born and bred in alabama and I know
the culture of my people.

Many conservatives have views much like a libertarian, which liberals oddly relate to. It's just that we think the private sector is more capable than government programs. Unfortunately, we can't separate out the social issues and also vote to restrict government. If you are offended by the deficit as I am, you won't vote for more government spending. period. I am not racist, there are gay people in my family, it's about the bigger picture for me. But I agree with Pia, not the place for a political discussion.

@lakergurl.. you just stepped over the line, thinking anyone here is racist against Catherine. We are all fans of this show and not one person in this forum has ever said a racist word about Catherine. Quite the opposite.

Just re-watched 2nd episode's cocktail party (yeah, I know, too much time on my hand) where Robyn confronted Sean about dating ethnic girls. He replied that all he told production was he would like to meet "sweet, intelligent, and funny" girls. He also told them that he wasn't attracted to a particular "type" as his past GFs included Hispanic, Persian and Black. He mentioned that most people would assume he would like only blondes because he is blond and blue eyes but this is not true.

This is what I like about Sean as he trumps conventional wisdom. There is more depth in him beyond his physical appearance which can be blinding. I think Sean shatters the stereotype of him based on his appearance and this is endearing.

I'd consider myself more traditional than Catherine as are the majority of my friends. One of my friends dated a local rapper here who is similar to the Grynch in terms of lyrics and performance character. The two of them are no longer together but it didn't change her traditional views of relationships. Her current boyfriend is a tall, dark-haired, blue-eyed carbon copy of Sean. She was happy with both but more of herself with the current one. I think Catherine would have similar thoughts when comparing her past relationships to her current one with Sean. Just my $0.02.

I really really think that you misunderstood me Lakergurl. My post that I got riled up about is the assumption that conservatives are the most open minded people. Which I think is excuse me Pia, the most naive and untruthful assumption of all. Conservatives are called that because they are not open to so many things whatever their reason is.

If all christians are openminded and doing more actions than mere words, we will all be in living in paradise. If conservatives are all open minded there will no
racist in their flock. But they have the bulk of them. So I CANNOT understand why colored people will be conservative! I cannot. They are the group
who wanted foreigners out of this country, why would you support that.
