While I don't doubt the spoilers at this point and I really like both Brooks and Chris(what I have seen of them so far). I really don't think its smooth sailing for Des and the F1. The edit is two obvious at this point. Something will have to happen to throw doubt in.

When is the last point in the season we have screen caps of Brooks?

The edit for the early episodes may be obvious since they begin to edit before the season's done, but I think the girlfriend coming back so early (and frankly Des didn't seem too bothered by that) it one of the flags that she did have a very good idea who she was going to pick. But the producers probably tried to create a few speedbumps along the way so there would be some drama for the end.... and at the same time, they (the producers) probably over-encouraged a few so there would be something to film.

And Des loves to kiss, so she's happily kiss them all.

Jcrbil, I think you are very right. The Ben drama, the Brian drama, crying over painful pasts, all seem manufactured to distract us from the main storyline.

We have SC of no ones HTs unless the SC with Brooks crying with some sort of bookshelf behind him is his HTD. As far as Antigua all we have is Chris and Drew. Of Zac and Brooks the remaining F4 there is no SC evidence yet.

There ARE rumors that he did not propose to her at the FRC.  I don't remember where I read that...and it could just be a rumor.  There was also a rumor that they're already broken up.  I believe nothing until I see it.

I only saw one thing that said he did not propose.  But then Love me and RS said he did.  So I tend to believe them more than that 1 thing I saw that said he didn't.

I also do not believe they broke up because when you see pictures and interviews she looks too happy for me to believe it.

I think the same way. Considering the source and 20+ seasons of this show we have seen almost everything. So if Brooks is F1 and from the spoilers was the front runner all along then the "weird" stuff must have been something to do with the F2 or F3.


Here are the words in his interview (and possibly stuff that Des has said in interviews) that may or may not be clues. Again - we have to keep in mind that they are trying to sell a show.

However, at one stage she asked the interview if they liked anyone else.....

 Obviously, the guy who got an almost perfect first date of the season who makes it to F1 is not cutting it for many viewers. The spoilers are out there for the core audience so some have already tuned out thinking there is no mystery left by all these confirmed leaks so why bother watching.

That's what I think.

So sadly nothing really of interest to watch and discuss this season. Blah.

In a strange way, yes, it does feel that way this season. And I think that might have something to do with the lower ratings, too. People don't just tune in for the drama and the romance, but because it is so up in the air who the lead is going to pick. It's never been quite so obvious who is in her mind and has touched her; and quite so obvious that they truly like each other (at this point). Maybe TPTB are making it more obvious on purpose (through the editing), but it's also Des' and Brooks' fault, because you can see it in their eyes and their interactions.

Of course, guys like Chris and Drew might cloud it up a little bit later on. You never know. But right now, even after introducing Chris, it's obvious who she has a soft spot for, and vice versa.

I just really hope it works/worked out for them in real life. It's probably too much to hope for. I just hope if it doesn't work out for them the media leaves them alone and doesn't dig up all this dirt on them. I bet you that's too much to ask, too. At least I hope their character survives this show.

I wish they'd fall in love for good, but rumors are already making that doubtful.

Edit: I absolutely love this season, though. And I love that my favorite is the chosen one two Bachelorettes in a row now.

Definitely. He made it clear he sees it through his comment about dang it, Brooks, he's so good, so charming. 

Has any other guy said another competitor is doing a good job, on any other season? Most of the time they just talk about themselves or say something negative about someone else.

Chris will get more confident and then it might be Brooks being concerned.
