he was 2 seconds away from having nervous breakdown. But he was rewarded because the group, tweaked the slot machine so he can at least have a remuneration for all the unnecessary torture he went through. He was an accidental victim after all.

Minutes after she posted the tweet, Sean came to her 'rescue'. Gag. Yes Catherine, you really know how to use twitter to get the results from your man.

I have to give it to her. She knows how to get what she wants. Just one of her many go getter qualities. After all, out of nowhere she came out and took Sean away from the front runners (Des, Ashley) ATTA girl!

interesting analysis. thanks. i don't think i saw that one of the ocean movies. i have thought that it must be hard for Cat because she is unemployed, and sean is the one who is making all the money from both the bachelor, his endorsements, and DWTS. whether or not they stay together sean has made a killing. Cat on the other hand will only have her adventure and memories if it ends, oh and her friendship with lesley. she has truly given up a lot for this relationship. at first i didn't think doing DWTS would be that big a deal if they weren't rushing into a summer marriage. now, seeing how hard it looks like it must be for Cat, or anyone in her position, i think it would have been better if sean hadn't done it. their relationship really is on hold until he is off the show. jmo.

She might be talking about a plugged toilet bowl for all we know but its still a good analogy. I love the reference.

You got something there. Sean also reminds me of Tom Cruise. Not physically of course but in how they present themselves to the public. To me, they're both very image conscious, highly attractive male specimens but who come across as slightly asexual. They don't have that deep masculine appeal of someone like Brad Pitt, Russell Crowe or Daniel Craig. JMHO.

Agree with you there. If they don't marry, she won't even get to keep the ring. *sigh*

Not ragging on Sean really but Catherine in this process seemed to have a bad case of Stockholm syndrome, IMO she does whatever the 'kidnapper' tells her to do.

Its not level playing field, he always decides where the relationship direction is going cause he is the bachelor and she is just the F1.Ofcourse he consults her
but its not like she's gonna say no.
Like Katie Holmes was kidnapped by the Scientologists to offer to Tom Cruise cause he needs to have a biological child. The whirlwind romance, the jumping on Oprah's couch. It's a manufactured world. And the kind of 'perfect couple' picture that the superfans have painted of them is so hard to live up to.
JMHO ofcourse. All of these documented in twitter, instagram, facebook. I think the fanatics themselves are the ones who are giving them so much pressure. Tweeting and reading tweets for them. I think that's too much, to read the tweets for them and go to online wars to defend them. I don't even know how they do that. They are the ones who will be most disappointed and will make them feel guilty if this union is less than perfect. That's why I promise myself I would just be a casual observer. Be a fanatic of anybody is just a waste of emotional energies.

Not getting involved in the conversation other than I don't know why anyone would feel sorry for Catherine. She's in love and having an adventure. She's spending a lot of her time pursuing career opportunities and appears to be enjoying herself. She also has friends in the area. They do have a real relationship even with DWTS. Most couples have to work so him spending 8 hrs training is no different. They still have evenings together and have even managed a couple of weekend trips.

I wouldn't put much stock in anything Perez claims, LOL! But being bisexual is IMO better than being asexual, where sexiness is totally missing. Meanwhile, I TOTALLY agree with everything you said. I just wish this thread was more active because a few in the regular fan section gets way too crazy obsessive about them. Sheesh.

I wonder if the network or Sean(?) give regular allowance to Catherine. Did Vienna have? I see Catherine always hanging out with that BHL guy, is that for a job?

Cat must be in somewhat of a pensive mood at the time she tweeted that ocean thing. I couldn't blame her cuz she really has sacrificed a lot and i guess she couldn't help it if thoughts negative sometimes rears its ugly head when you least expect it. Everyone goes through with it what more if youre a celebrity. Its a whole new environment for her and to be subjected to non stop negative publicity is really tough.

Sean is the one who can put a stop to this torture and say enough is enough. It doesn't matter if Cat was onboard with this decision of him being in DWTS. I will take his words that as far as hes concerned, Catherine is and will be "his primary concern and everything else is secondary.."

For now all we can do is wait and see ...and speculate to our hearts content until frustration catches up that we no longer care :giggle:

Not feeling sorry for Catherine, just having reservations, that's all. Meanwhile, I'll call it a real relationship once they get married. :Smiley:

I would bet 100% that they will get married. The whole asian fandom will collapse if they wont. I think Catherine being asian and being the chosen one of Sean, gave this fandom a different level of intensity and interest. Asian females who are attracted to men like Sean identifies with her. And its also different kind of
pressure being a sort of 'role model' for them. My family is Peruvian/Italian and if there will be a Peruvian bachelorette I sure as hell will jump on the bandwagon.
It's a pressure too to make it work, that the asian/filipino F1 made it work.

For Sean being christian and sort of a spoke person for them (I am Catholic but apparently for the 'christians' I dont deserve to be called a christian teehehe) its a pressure too to be true to his word that they will marry. These reasons are reason enough to get married, love and being ready can be secondary. But my point is the pressure is too much for them to get married and they will lose everything if they wont.

IMHO Catherine could view this differently. She had a part time job as a food blogger for an on-line newspaper and had her job at Amazon for less than a year, when she left it. And had a dream of finding "great love". So far I'd guess she believes she found that great love.
