I found it really odd that the show left in Cat's comment. This season feels really weird to me after that episode. I had such high hopes after seeing that GIF of SeanCat. In reality, Sean seemed reall cut off from Cat and into Dez. Cat even said it on the group date. Is the letter from Cat telling him that she couldn't go through with it?

Veg, it feels weird to me too. They sure didn't seem to continue the story line they started last week with Catherine other than Sean's comment about their having a "unique" connection. And I am disappointed that Sean did not give Catherine the group rose. He seemed quite cognizant how difficult it was for her to share that about her father (acknowledging that she was shaking and not even able to maintain eye contact). I think giving her the rose the reassurance that he seemed to know that she might be needing.

This season is really weird for me. Past seasons have had a lot of drama too but they managed to show a love story in the mix of the drama. This season is all drama very little romance and love story. Even past contestants on twitter were saying on twitter tonight that they are not feeling this season or seeing any lasting love with any of the girls (or something close to those words). If they want people to buy this relationship they better kick the romance up starting next Monday jmo

I did feel as if they were not showing everything they could show with Sean and Catherine still. Hopefully they start to show more next week....it's getting down to the end!

I agree. I think their differences are their obstacles. (Divorced parents of different religions versus Sean's picture perfect christian family for example). But I do think/hope that this is exactly what they both need to make it work in more depth. I like Lindsay, but I have yet to see any depth, and even her army brat story did not touch me quite as much as Cat, Des or Ash.

I agree with this 100%. Cat is cute and funny, but I am just not seeing a lasting relationship at all.

Right, he's used the roses for that purpose. If he was on his way to love with her, then I'd have thought she'd have gotten it.

My concern is the content of that quote particularly when Cat said, "I didn't want to say it, but I'm just being honest that she has more in common with him than I do." Why would they let us hear her say that? Maybe it is an obstacle, but how does she overcome that? How does Sean fix that for her?

If Cat were to turn down Sean, thE show would still edit him favorably.
