Hands down best post because of the bolded. I must be one of the few that is loving this season. But man everyone hated Ashley season with a passion. There was so much drama with Bentley that people tuned out because that seemed to be what the focus was. I see the same thing happening here with Sean's season. They are focusing so much attention on Tierra that we are not seeing the relationships really develop with the other girls. I mean seriously, if we did not know that Catherine was F1, I don't think anyone would pick her as F1. I know many of my unspoiled friends just found out who she was this past episode, otherwise they had no idea who she was.

I hated the Bentley drama because he was so mean about her. I think TPTB let it go on far too long, it was almost sadistic. She perked up following that and I for one think she had two good guys at the end who cared about her.
I just am not a fan of Emily's although I liked some of her guys (not Jef) .
Sean to me seems like a decent person, but to me he comes across as almost asexual or immature in the romance dept. His kissing is like a middle school kid. I can respect his decision not to have sex before marriage, but he just isn't interesting to me as a romantic lead. I also agree no matter how much some of the ladies may like sports/outdoor activities etc, they all like the romance as well. So far, I am not seeing that in these dates. Some of them are downright dangerous.

i'm really enjoying sean's season and i think he's got a good group of women, but the adrenaline dates are way too much for me. i don't find watching people being terrified fun and i sure wouldn't want to go on one of those dates. it seems like tptb have made the adrenaline dates more and more dangerous over the last few years. i think it really started with ben and emily scaling the golden gate bridge. i could always use less drama and more actual fun and humor would be great.

I love the great outdoors but I am not watching this show to see a sports competition or timber sports. If they feel they must have these type of activities, I'd rather they show a few clips but that the main content be the chats that he has with the ladies and interactions. We saw pics of him chatting and having fun with the various women on the beach but instead of showing that - they opted to show their pitiful attempts at volleyball..same for the roller derby. It's their content choices and editing that irks me.

Sounds like many of us are all on the same page here. Like I mentioned yesterday... this is about watching a romance, not Survivor! I want to see the friendships that develop in the house... we know that many stay quite close after being housemates for a few weeks or months. I want to hear the conversations between the lead and more than just one or two of the girls. If the odd season there is one major drama queen in the house, show us, but sometimes they edit the crap out of somebody just to provide viewers with some type of controversy. Why does MF think that's what we want? I personally have never read, nor heard from any of my friends who watch, that they like it. This show needs a major overhaul in how it's produced or it's not going to be able to get the ratings in order to survive.

you know what I'd love to see? a few competitions in the house to see who get's a 1/1 date with the lead. Nothing physical, as that could get out of hand, but what if they had a baking comp or played a game of sorts..... pin the tail on the donkey, something stupid and funny like that? things like this would add a little something to the show.... instead of listening to the girls whine about another contestant..... season after season....

I'd actually like to see the first couple of weeks be a series of fun dates, sort of 4 on 1- where there had been fun things to do, time that the lead could spend with each, and time that girls could know one another- maybe with a rose to one, maybe not.

Around Halloween they could do a masquerade date, where the dating pool is costumed and unrecognizable to the main and then the main has to choose who gets the sqt based on his interactions. That could be fun watching the women choose their costume, get prepped and then interact with the main.
Certainly a bit more entertaining than roller derby.

Great ideas! especially a masquerade date... that could be a lot of fun. especially near the begining when he's not all that familiar with all the ladies

there could be so much more to this show, it could evolve into something that was really enjoyable to watch. but instead MF, just tries to get more extreme by doing the same old, lame old crap that's been done for years.

Great ideas! I love the non physical competition. And I love the masquerade idea. I also think multiple 4 on 1 dates would help the lead alot. If they really have the lead's best interest at heart, they would let him/her get rid of lots of extra MOT contestants early on so as not to waste precious time. They did that on Bachelor Canada and it did not detract from the show in the least. It enhanced it.

I love all of these fresh ideas! I also realize that I really missed out of an organic season by not watching the Canadian version! Bummer!
