nd - you used img tag which is for pictures. Try this again. Copy that tweet, choose the Quote Icon, chose "insert". You will see

[quote ] and [/quote ] together. Paste the tweet in between the two quotes. I space them out to make room because you don't want to move the [ ]

I had to head for my regular laptop to see which is the quote button.[ which is the 1st button in the 4th set of icons]

How do you guys get clips and pictures off instagram and post them here?

First, if the account is private, it can not be posted.
Second, you can post that the same way you do any other screenshot. That differs between pc and mac.
That is how I do it.

I use my snipping tool and then save it in my pictures folder. I upload the image to photobucket and then use the url to post it on here.

There are several different methods depending on your device, laptop, computer and what programs you have installed.

This is the simplest way to copy pictures

Get the link from the picture. For example for IG, click/tap etc the picture. Copy the link in the address bar.

Insert the link from your picture. Choose Generate embedded code.

Copy the whole code, paste it in your reply box. Hit send.

^ yep that's the website I use. Very easy. Just FYI if there's an emoji used (love heart, laughing, girl boy, baby e.t.c.) the picture/video won't post correctly because there will be squares in place so would be best to delete them or add them again before posting.

I have a question. I always used Iconosquare to view Instagram pictures, because I could copy the picture address right from there by right clicking. They are now starting to charge to use Iconosquare. Are there any other alternatives out there? I also liked viewing all the pictures of the people I am following in order they were posted. Thanks!

I just went through the same thing. So now I just use instagram and copy the picture link to this site: http://ctrlq.org/instagram/ per GA's instruction.
You copy the entire text that comes up in the box. If you want to reduce the photo size, where says 100%, change it to 40%.
