Umm...I'm sorry but...Arie is not that good of a driver. His DAD is but him...not so much. Petit LeMans is trying to bring a 'name' but sadly Arie's not that good. He'd have gotten a boost in sponsors had he accepted (if offered) the lead IMO.

Agreed. I love Arie, and think he is an amazing TV personality, but I 100% believe RS when he says that TPTB turned him, and not the other way around. I think they made the wrong decision, but I do think it was their decision.

Ugh, John Mayer the singer? Haha! From the rumours I've read about him over the years... Yuck! I think Lochte would be better than John Mayer.

Hahaha about Wetpaint. The same people who said Emily chose Chris then that she chose Sean. They are less informed then us here! :) I am getting excited for whomever is TB. I miss this board & sleuthing!! :)

In this case, the writer Gina Carbone (who is by far their best IMO) is merely relaying the report from Ryan Seacrest. Roberto seems to have confirmed he's not going to be the Bachelor in his tweet this afternoon:

If they really wanted Sean, (since the MTA) , then what has the hold up been? If they wanted Roberto since the lawsuit was filed, or since May or June, what could the hold up possibly be?
Ben was already filming promos by the third week of August. Roberto and Sean werent clear cut , first choices. Yet one of them will get the gig. It could still be a good season. Who knows, it could even be great. But that doesnt mean that the guy was first choice.
