Well I was called jimmy neutron so it didnot and does not offend me one way or the other. However on a day when threads are locked because everybody knows why, that picture post is certainly a subtle jab. Imo it is provocative. Only the poster knows if it was intended that way!

If someone chooses to read it as provacative or negative that is their choice. I don't see what you see. Draven is the master of funny gifs! I love her humor!

Im sure all the bickering back and forth that led to the thread shutdown was initiated by attempts at humor and sarcastism as well. The blowup was how it was received and responded to.

OK ban me now because I am sick of this B*S*. Stop being so damned selfish on both sides of the issue. Stop engaging each other in conversation that is just hurting everyone around you that wants peace and just to be able to enjoy the site. Hundreds of people are being held hostage by a handful of you that have hi-jacked the board and are too selfish and self centered to just walk away and leave the conversation alone. So I no longer care if I am banned. There is nothing left here to discuss anyhow because of your unreasonableness. I hope your are proud of yourselves!

Dee, the OP meant no harm whatsoever....she was trying to clarify something and didn't want to send out a mass email. But she was also acknowledging she was OT, and was expressing a sincere hope not to get banned. A few pages back I asked for info about USWeekly here not because I wanted to break rules but because I didn't know where to post the question, and I too feared that perhaps I was doing the wrong thing. Jemfans have been nervous on Wednesdays....
As for the cat pic, I think the focus was on the pic rather than the caption, as draven often remarks about how she has an easier time finding dog gifs than cat gifs. jmo in an effort to smooth the waters....

Sadly I had to pm lm. So I may be banned also. There is only one me I cannot speak for a 'handful '. I usually leave the conversation alone but I miss my early weekly recaps so I tried to remind the ops to tread lightly or we are all on the verge of being provocative with our sense of humor.

He didn't like the producers telling him what he had to do on screen. Remember that post about losing his soul. I think that came from after a meeting about being the Bachelor when they laid out the whole deal.

Other than that 1 girl who posted that she was going to be on the show have there been any other girls we know of who have been chosen for the show. I'm pretty sure that some must have been cast by now if filming starts mid to late September. They have to give them some time for shopping for those new dresses/bikinis/etc.

How is it people are able to find out who is cast? Do we have to wait for ABC to post or are people somehow able to sleuth it out on their own?

Some LPGA pro golfer got a call and I couldn't remember her name and tried to find it again in the Arie thread and couldn't find it. It was mentioned just once and had a few comments, but I have no idea where it was. She posted on her facebook that she got the call to be on the Bachelor. Should she do it.

I agree with you that he was pressured. I'm not sure if that played into his feelings or not, but I suppose one could say that there is no way it didn't. However, I'm sitting here thinking that maybe a season of real conversations vs. over-the-top kissing and pretending to fall in love with more than one person might be refreshing. I just made myself laugh with that one!

Facebook & twitter usually out the cast members due to them tweeting friends or family and it is out of the bag then!

I'm still of the opinion that it's been Arie they wanted all along. Perhaps they were concerned when RS got hold of the Cassie news and made it public but that wasn't really news to us because we were aware of the fact that she had been trying to get him on the show for quite awhile. I think Sean was being considered because of his popularity and they probably had some talks with him (generating his tweet about 'losing/selling his soul") but I still believe it's Arie and always has been and Sean was being interviewed as a 'just in case' or they were busy watching the popularity of both guys. Just hope both these guys have given it a lot of thought before signing on the dotted line because we all know how tptb are more than willing to crucify a lead if they think it can give them better ratings.
