Albean I was just going to reply to you. I know we felt so lost during Ben's season, because we weren't on the Jash train. I have to admit, I love having my fav be the spoiled F1...it is fun. But I do adore Arie too....I hate this feeling of a divide. Maybe next season, we will be together again!! Hopefully rooting for a great girl for Arie!! I am sorry you feel lonely.

:WAVEY: At least we can Arie on if he's the next lead (although that scares me after last season). I'm not lonely as long as I stay in my little home with Arie --------------------------------fans.

I find newbies are welcomed and then ignored. Granted, we probably are not the sleuthers that some are around here. An example...I posted a blog entry by Bronson's wife that I thought was interesting because she met Emily on the homedate....not a single reply after 4 pages so I deleted it. Perhaps it had been posted before, but I had not seen it.

I'm really very sorry that you feel this way. If you posted in the Jef thread it's possible that it just got bypassed because the thread moves so quickly but I have seen mention and read the blog entry so, thank you. I know that when I first joined (we were at FORT then) I too felt as though I was an outsider, it's difficult, sometimes I still feel the same but not as much because I now recognize many of the names from past seasons, have pm'd some. I think as long as you stay polite you will be accepted and listened to but it's difficult to respond to every post. I may not respond but I do read. See you around the boards, and, have fun!!!

Aaah Amber- I read the blog by Weslie also...I meant to respond but I got distracted by real life stuff...by the time I got back to it...I was 6 pages behind....and didn't respond...sorry...I read it also.

Ambertrails, I like your posts! I think several people posted about that blog, so maybe that is why no one responded.

Hi AmberTrails, I saw your recent post of Sean's sister's blog (?) in the Emily Edit thread, and it got a fair number of replies & comments there. So don't feel ignored! :)

My guess is, if you post in one of the super-active threads, your post is most likely to be ignored if it isn't inline with whatever the conversation-of-the-moment is in that thread. IMHO, you'll find that's pretty much true anywhere on the internet, not just on this forum.

Amber, Weslie's blog had been posted in the Jef thread earlier in the day and had all ready received multiple comments. Please don't take a lack of response to your posting of the blog in a negative manner. The Jef thread moves so fast it is just difficult to keep up with everything!

I actually read and really enjoyed your post. I didn't reply because I haven't been posting much in general. Just want to say that what you posted was invaluable to me, and the next time I will make sure to post a reply. :Smiley:

Been out of town and way behind...just found this thread. I have a solution to the absurd PMing of the admins. I'm a foodie and a few years back I was a happy member of a popular food/ restaurant review board. There was a button under each post that said "report this post"...not sure if we have that. Anyway, people started ab/using it as well as PMing the admins with constant complaints about other posters and their posts. Some just coudln't handle being disagreed with, some always thought every post was aimed at them, some felt as if they should be the moderators and knew what was right and wrong, some were just whiners, some were fans of certain restaurants and any negative comment was an offense, all of them were overwhelming the admins with work. The admins let us know that if we didn't resolve it they were shutting down the board. We took a vote and it was a very simple solution. We started a new thread that was a daily list of the names of anyone who reported or contacted admins about a post. Not the reasons, no info at all about which post, just the name of the person who reported it. It was amazing. Reporting posts dried up with the exception of a few die-hard complainers who had no shame. It worked. People put on their adult panties. Simple and clean. I suggest we try it here.

Ha the ultimate walk of shame! I like it. I can't see it happening, though.
