Vent/Complaint Department - Bachelorette 8 - Discussion

Sorry, but I see an equal amount of "exclusion", and groupthink on both sides of this divide, neither the Arie thread nor the Jef thread is any more welcoming to minority opinion on it, one side is not worse than the other, and frankly, the continued martyrdom is irritating. I guess that's me venting.

Yes, thank you. Both sides have guilty parties and neither is better or worse than the other. And you're right, the whining and victimization is bothersome. However, the majority of this board consists of lovely people!

First time I saw this thread. Wow. Kind of sad it has devolved to this level. Two words: Personal responsibility. Suggestion: Get some.

STOP COMPLAINING and WHINING.

if you do not like this forum, move on and do it in silence. I careless to read 20 pages of "please don't go!"

if you need reinsurance that you are loved and understood, find a psy.... more expensive but been told worth it long term.

GEEZ a forum is like real life: YOU JUST CANNOT PLEASE EVERYONE and vice versa.

Re: bolded part... Very true! I look at it like fishing. Here to enjoy myself, and I might get a bite or two, but also I just like being on the water and enjoying the view. Like work, I try not to take anything personal and just roll with it.

It makes me sad when I see people get so invested in the show that it becomes more than just a show. No matter who wins or no matter who loses, the sun is still going to rise in the east tomorrow and set in the west. No great plague is going to fall over the earth. Tomorrow will go on just like today did. Life has so many real problems and challenges that we don't need to create or invent them because we choose to like one contestant over the other. It won't affect my life one tiny iota if some one thinks, or says things differently than I do. Who the lead choses or doesn't chose is meaningless to my reality. So if you read something that you don't agree with....just pass on by. Everyone has an opinion just like they have a nose. You might find some noses little and cute and others you might find large and hideous. In life you would not tell someone that you find their nose large and hideous so just apply the same logic here. So if you find someone's post large and hideous just make a mental note have a good internal laugh or derisive thought, smile and pass by. No need to comment... because somewhere down the road someone will think your nose is hideous too and you will be glad that they just smiled and kept their thought to themselves. I try to always remind myself that an opinion is never right or wrong it is just an opiinion.

Now if someone will hand me a step ladder. I will get down off my high horse and step away from the soap box.
