Good. Then it should work out perfectly. He really doesn't need her money. She doesn't need his. No wonder they don't really talk about it.

I don't think it's hilarious. That's still a concern of mine. But he could also be absolutely right that it's completely chemistry. Rich guys can find true chemistry out there, too, even though it's really hard for a lot of people to believe.

Hey, I went to the CEO of People Water's HUGE house and I met Jef. I didn't like Jef for his money and his friends' money. I liked Jef for Jef.

According to this one site, People Water is doing quite well and Jef's net worth is 3 million. Who knows how much Holm senior is worth, but a lot more than that.

Emily has money of her own. Why would she care what Jef's worth? I think she fell for Jef because he's fun, charming and over all has a good heart. Her family has made sure she's going to always be able to care for Ricki. The Hendricks aren't hurting for money either. So anything going to Ricki is going to be substantial. I've read that Emily has the business the Ricky owned before he passed and she's part owner of a mine her dad owns. For people to keep bringing up the money issue where Emily is concerned is kinda silly.

At least with Jef , her family doesn't have to worry that he is after her money either.

Thanks for posting this..

IMO the good guys are the ones who go into the experience open and honest and don't play any games.

The ones like Arie that can so quickly fall in love??

Lavenderred, I suggest you read the transcript before making such quick judgement based on third party interpretation of things. Jef did a great job elaborating the whole situation

FYI: Jef reminds Deanna of Graham, so I am not even understanding where the Jesse comparison is coming from.
Anyway..back to my happy place..

Kudos to Jef Holm.

As Emily is cited at Victoria Secret today, I hope Jef is sited at some airport heading to get some action :cutesmile!:

Jef said that his and Emily's relationship took a while to develop because it started as a friendship first. He told me that it was a strategy to keep Emily guessing and keep her on her toes when it came to his feelings at first. He said that all of the other guys would jump up and get her drinks and fight for time with her, but he took a more laid back approach and he thinks it worked!

I have to agree. We heard him tell Emily that it WASN'T a strategy. So yeah, he pretty much lied to Emily given what we were shown on the last episode.
It's such an aggregious lie, right? Not so much. I don't think he "lied", it was a moment they talked and joked about. And for all we know, that's partly why he threw that out there in the interview. He asked her if it worked, she basically said yes it had, and that's when he said, yeah, it was a strategy.

I'm waiting to see what page it's on where I've gotten so I can't hear my TV correctly. ; )
Hugesmile And then in the interview it didn't quite play out the way the article casually said. I think Jef's approach was a good one...a well thought out manner in which to handle being there, get comfortable being there and begin that friendship he says he wants with a future wife. I bet it's really funny to sit back and watch everyone else try to outdo themselves, fall all over themselves and quietly take it all in. And then when Emily does seek him out, they have a good time getting to know each other.

Right. giggling Jef's money doesn't matter to Emily because he clearly has plenty of it, just like JP's education didn't matter since he had plenty of it. JMO.

Maybe Jef's money doesn't matter to Emily because she has plenty of her own.
Most likely so. I guess it's hard to see that both Jef and Emily are attractive people, seem to have good hearts, kindness, desire to do good things for community/world, what have you. And they both have money to do so. I'm reading the lines in front of me...not trying to read invisible hidden motives in those lines.

I also found this:

Emily has her own money. She is worth 5 million now. She is a partner of one of her Father business who is the owner of a coal mine in West Virginia. She came from a very wealthy family. So don't tell me Emily needs a rich man to take care of her financially or is dependent on the Hendricks. That money belong to her daughter. She is an heir. to his fathers inheritance..( the one who died on a plane crash) The Hendricks has no hold on Emily because she is very rich herself. She is very close to the Hendricks like her own parents.

And he's kinda arrogant about it in a funny/cute way IMO. LOL. Like "FYI peeps, yep, she chased me out of all the guys and we have amazing chemistry, thanks for playing!"

Emily makes him feel confident. Post show.
Most definitely.

Well Jef did bag the hot gal out of 1 in million...wouldn't that make you confident, if a guy?

For my part, nice to hear that all the guys seems to be doing well...

It will be cruel to have Chris next week, just before his elimination. I think Chris will just do one after his elimination..
