it is strange that the two strongest contenders are best friends in the house, are not jealous of each other and appears to share things about their dates.

One would think at this stage it is natural to feel a little bit of jealousy if you are really falling in love.

It also seems like, from Arie and Jef's interviews, Arie and Jef segregate themselves from the rest of the guys. All the guys that left seem to be rooting for Sean. Interesting.

The tone of this interview is just totally different than Seans and Aries to me. He so calm and 'cool'. Doesn't come off as trying too hard to sell himself or his relationship with Emily. You might even say he was quietly confident. I'm not saying he gave it away, it's just him (at least how he's been on the show). It's just interesting to me. Things that stood out to me:

- Discussions with Arie, obvi.
- Him saying they used to share looks, including right before her date with Ryan.
- Saying he told Doug about Kalon before that GD. Not a big deal but it was played off on screen like Doug found out on the GD, wasn't it? I know that whole thing was TPTB driven, but Doug acting like he was just finding out was a better acting job than I expected.

I agree. Speaking of Jef's comments about the Arie/Cassie situation, I found it noteworthy that he did not find out about it until he got home. Sure seems to me that Emily would have mentioned it to him!

Veg-Out, I also found the bolded part of the above interview interesting. Jef wanted to talk to Emily about all the other guys, to know stories about them and how their relationships were progressing. Then he and Arie were also discussing their dates with Emily as well. Very interesting indeed.

Why would she spend time during the show talking to Jef about Arie when she can be talking to him and furthering their relationship. I am kind of surprised though that Arie didn't mention it to him.

But doesn't it seem a little odd? Jef tells us he and Arie discussed their dates and that Ari expressed that Em seemed upset he was hiding something. Jef also tells us that he quizzed Em on her relationships with the other guys. If Arie is his best bro on the show and Em is his #1 gal, shouldn't it have come up--at some point? Not positing some big conspiracy theory, just find it strange.
