Re: Bachelorette 8 - Media - Thread #3
I am very interested in seeing how this interview is positioned in the top tier media. Perhaps it's just me, but the clear implication is that he's her choice. Given that there's still 4 shows to go, it seems a little early to put that out there - especially with the ratings being soft.
Given how much air time Arie has received, I guess they're banking on viewers tuning in to see what went wrong there and how Jef passed him by.

I have to agree. We heard him tell Emily that it WASN'T a strategy. So yeah, he pretty much lied to Emily given what we were shown on the last episode.

I will note that the author of the blog is a bit partisan by her own statements, so it might make sense to see an actual journalist's take.

I studied French in school a loooooong time ago... but all I remember is 'Richard, assietez-vous et fermez votre grand bouche'... or something like that...
My husband always says all he remembers is "Zut alors" but claims it was a good choice because it never offends and is so versatile!

4 years of high school French and I still couldn't find my way out of the Louvre with a flashlight and an English-French dictionary. Tres embarassed!

could have been a little shout out to Emily based on the chat they had on the last episode. *shrug*

I did a semester in Vienna Austria in college. My language prep was Berlitz. I got only as far as "what is this, this is a pencil." It was such a handy phrase as you can imagine.
But we digress.

When the strategy topic came up, I hear him answer yes, then no, then ask her "did it work?" I'm pretty sure that Emily picked up what he was putting down.

Jef & Emily openly discussed this issue in last episode. I guess we are looking for another reason why Jef is such a bad apple ...waoooh.
People Water need to add me in their payroll. It's very hard to be on Jef's side..

The "done with dating on reality TV" and "wouldn't accept the Bachelor if it were offered" strikes me that way, too.
Well, I met him, and I can totally see how he does (have the girl). Nothing phased him while we watched the show Monday with him. He joked about Sean kissing her, pretending he was mad. Everyone was teasing him about it, too. He just watched it not like he was trying to figure things out but just like he wanted to see the show, what they showed. He seemed totally cool about it all, and very happy.
There were a lot of cute girls at the party and you could tell he was there just to tell people about his experience and hang out. But he didn't seem to have any interest other than to just be friendly, with anyone.
Me and Joni's story has always been, he just seemed happy, fine.
